I believe, though I stand to be corrected, that unless Ellis was offered an extension of contract and he rejected it that there is no tribunal hence my reference some weeks ago to the fact that he was not included in the list of players offered an extension of contract which was published in the local rag.
I have no idea when his contract expired but unless he was offered an extension before it expired he may well be a free agent.

If he was offered a contract whilst still on contract then yes, it would go to a tribunal. If it was offered once his exsisting contract expired, then there will be no tribunal.

I think Adie offered most of the decent players a contract. So lets hope Ellis was offered one.
Hopefully Barrie will come out in the press/website soon and confirm one way or the other. if we havent then no point crying over spilt milk but a lesson learned.

Kent Online has got an article saying he hasn't gone yet and that he is due to play against Charlton tomorrow. Was with us last year on non contract terms apparently so we won't get anything for him.
Also says that Richard Carpenter is the new club captain, good luck Chippy!
