How does turning up at the game affect wether i say that the club is poor of the field and doesnt want to go up.
PS 6 goals in 2 games let in and 2 losses. Pre season is for ironing out. And ive said Carpenter is past it and Blackman wont score enough and that this is Neils team.
All reasonable points i would suggest.
You say we will be ok, Lets see whos correct. If they dont want criticsm for getting beat simple.... WIN!

Liam was a top manager. He saved the club from relegation when PP handed over to him during that crucial Xmas and New Year period. He was strong and decisive and he did not not take any prisoners with the team selection. He saved the club from relegation, no questions asked!! When I was involved with the club he impressed me immensely. He made the team work for him. He gained results and made certain players believe. I felt the club treated him very poorly. He never got got the recognition he deserved. The club felt that he lived too far away to manage the team, yet he guided Gravesend to an impressive finish in the Conference.
Ade was a great substitute. He was obviously a man destined for greater things. Ade was a brilliant man manager as well as an excellent coach. Ade was a much younger version of Bill Williams in his prime. He had the desire and ambition that far outweighed Welling.
Welling's ambition will always be capped. When you have a the very basics of infrasrutcture in place, you can not expect great things.
For all those supporters living through the Conference Years, re-align yourselves and rely on surviving in the Conf South. Thats where you will be until the foundations at the club change.
Maybe we just need to accept that we cant challenge in this league. But that would be the case if we went down too.
It will only change when there is change at the club. So taking marks point on board about getting behind the team, he is correct. Maybe im just one of the last ones to accept that we are what we are a team that plays football on a saturday and not a team going anywhere. I should drop my expectations, pay £10 a week and shut the **** up.

If you don't already know the reason I walked out on Welling United I will forgive you.
It's pointless looking at the team when the whole club infrastruture is floored. Look at the Chairman. The man that refuses to buy a raffle ticket.
You're a business man Mark. Take away the Welling flowing through your system and what do you have?? A club run as a hobby. Tell me where the professional focus of the club is aimed. That's no way to run a modern football club.
On tonight's evidence we could have quite a decent side but it has got to learn how to stop beating itself AND FAST!
Given tonight's circumstances, had we have lost to 3 decent goals to our 1 we could probably have walked away saying best of a bad job,
However, the first was a rank bad piece of defending in midfield which I had thought we had got away with until JT and an a defender contrived to make the ball find its way in from a shot from a reasonable distance out and a wide angle.
The third said it all about tone and perception of the team. JT makes a bloody good save to block a short range rocket up in the air and then contrives to drop the relatively simple follow up catch over the line. The whole episode set a completely different tone to if the original shot had just gone straight in.
There is never really a good time to make a mistake as a keeper but it seems JT is prone to making his biggest errors at the most important psychological times. With a strike force that is not going to be prolific this year as looks likely he is going to need to have improve markedly or we will pay big time for any mistakes. He's actually quite a good keeper but really needs to sort the mental side out sharpish.
GMP - I take it by 'infrastructure' you mean 'signage' as that appears to have been you main concern during the time when you selflessly served the club.
I didn't go last night so I can't comment on the game, but the report I got after it had ended didn't sound good. This however is the opinion of a City Fan,Taken from their board.
If it was not for Herbert who had a brilliant game Welling would have taken us to the cleaners They were faster more skilfull and had more ideas (perhaps thought of them down the M11)
They will finish in the top five
On that note I'm looking forward to Hayes & Yeading on Saturday.

A statement that will be said by other supporters this season Welling play great football and are too good to go down! didnt stop Forest!
We were a bit like Arsenal lots of pretty stuff trying to walk it in to the net and a goalie who has no idea and makes 3or4 crap decisions a game that costs goals.
