I have been to two away games so far this season - Lewes and Eastbourne - and each game, if you take away the first 10 minutes there has been nothing between us and them, in fact last night an Eastbourne fan said that we deserved at least a point and that we were the best team that had played there so far this season. He also said that Chippy was by far the MOM. So what is the biggest difference then between us and them? Steve King has been at Lewes for 4-5 years and Garry Wilson has been at Eastbourne for 3-4 years!!! Neil has been here.........3 months!!! For God's sake get off his back and start supporting the team. The boys probably enjoy playing away because they are not being put under pressure by their own fans. Last night we hit the bar, had two cleared off the line and a couple of shots that just missed, sure we need a 6 foot striker that can do the 100 metres in 10 seconds, but who doesn't? Where are they? The club cannot afford to buy one, and lower clubs are now putting any decent player on contracts, so you have to keep looking and trying, but it will take time. In the mean time let's make a home fixture mean something, let's get behind Neil and the team and encourage them. I personally think that if they play anywhere near the standard that the did last night then we can beat anybody on our day!! We need one ingrediant that has been missing all season, LUCK!!

I don't know what you have been watching - I have seen all but the Cambridge game this season. Lewes we were clueless and well beaten. Last night we competed well in the second half and could have got a point. With respect anon. other games have been awful and the lack of direction and ability to change is what is worrying many of us. I can see your point about waiting but we need to see a sign that we might improve.

It is hardly the supporters fault if we have been near the bottom of leagues for most of the last 15 years and are therefore highly attuned to the classic hallmarks of a season of impending toil. And currently this looks like it may well be a classic.

Put in the effort and be competent and this club will even get 50 people to Blyth\Barrow to support but it is a two way street.

What on earth are you talking about you anonymous typer like me, after the first 10 minutes?  Eastbourne was a horror show up until the 50 minute mark, then we had some vague interest in putting up a fight.

I don't like the way we are playing and for the first time (as I am pretty patient) I am starting to wobble as those away games seem to be becoming a longer journey everytime.
