Yet another two leave, the squad still looks thin. Maybe quality over quantity.

OH Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiite

Ive got over £600 in doubles on Eastleigh and Bath tomorrow, think im gonna have to lay eastleigh now to make sure i dont get stuffed.

Contemplating a bet on welling now that Neil has done that....

And wtf ... Ellis said he was gonna sign and play in charlton game then sodded off then he leaves eastleigh and comes back after walking away??

Ellis you are a nice bloke and a good player son, but you owe us big time so get your head down and do the business.... and welcome back!

Some background (hopefully accurate) on new players

Marlon Patterson age 24 midfielder

Previous clubs: Chelsea (youth), Millwall (youth), Crawlett, Billericay,, Dulwich Hamlet, Fisher, Carshalton, Yeading (last season).

Comes from Dagenham & Redbridge where he made 1 League appearance, on bench several times and played half a dozen or so friendlies during the pre season.

Ross Montague age 17 striker
Brentford with 4 sub appearances last season.

Was on loan at Sutton from the start of the season until recalled.  Played 6 of 8 and was unused sub in another.  Scored 3 goals 2 of which were against Eastleigh.

Jerome Boyce
Dagenham and Redbridge (capital League), Aveley, Wivenhoe Town, Tilbury.

Comes from  Wingate and Finchley 1 sub appearance this season.

Ellis Green

Needs no introduction having having only departed PVR in July.

Ive always had reservations on people leaving then coming back when it was their choice to go.

Back Welling? Hmmmm Having said that bought a new greyhound last week and he had his first run tonight winning in a fast 28.28 at wimbledon tonight at 4/1

Another new one is set to go to crayford just after xmas, bred from the derby winner :)

As for tomorrow ive left my bet on eastleigh and have a double eastleigh and bath.

Nope not seething at all. Honestly , only lost a few hundred rather than 600 on the footy. And me dog won last night. Plus the three points give us a bit of hope.

Well done to Neil on getting a result but the BIG BIG BIG test is this time go on a a run and not back to square one.

If you are a casual gambler, you probably would be. If it is your job, a loss every so often is an occupational hazard and gets treated as such. Rather like doing an outside job and getting wet when it rains, you just don't want to get soaked every day
