we have no out and out goalscorer,
omari is a hold up man.
young pughy looked gd on the ball but cnt see him getting in behind.
loyd cnt see his purpose in the sqaud.
havent seen the new striker sawyer, heard his got goals in him,and scored in the reseys couple weeks back.but will he even get a chance smith doesnt seem too like changing the team.

                                                                                           i agree totally
if you look around the legue near enough every team has a proven goalscorer, who if there team scored you know it will be them on the score sheet.i cant where our goals are gonna come from, knowone looks like scoring atm.

but i suppose maybe if there was better service for the front 2,whom ever that may be.then there might be more goals just have too wait and see.blankstare

In my opinion I think it may be the lack of service from midfield that could be more of a problem.  Having said that Marlon Patterson does put a good cross over when he gets a chance.  Our midfield doesn`t score many goals either. The first half of the Braintree game the Midfield seemed to be getting forward and pushing their midfield back to their 18 yard line.  Thus creating chances. Second half they retreated into their shells.  Thus the forwards had no ball at all. Result 2..nill defeat. They need to be a lot more ruthless when they`re on top.  And if they feel the opponants are getting a foothold in the game GET STUCK IN MORE!.  The same goes for the defence.  Apart from Mooro when has one of our defenders really clattered one of the other teams forwards. The opponants should fear coming to PVR. Instead they know once the first 15 minutes are over and the game settles down they can take charge and boss the game.  Come on lads lets see more fight and will to win. Lets have 90 strong, committed, skillfull minutes on Saturday. No excuses against our local rivals. GO FOR IT
