I think that we can do it, but as you say Bruno, we need a full strength side out there. That may not be possible with our injuries, but I am optomistic.
It's sort of middling - a few thousand prize money for each round, but the possibility of being televised. I don't know much about the old league cup competitions (Bob Lord and all that) but I'm assuming the level of sponsorship compares favourably. I would of thought below Trophy by some margin but well above county cups.
Not according to Unofficial Conference South site or the BBC and Bromley have it penciled in for 4 December on their website. The following week Bromley have Lewes at home on the Tuesday night.

Good performance all round and great saves by JT. Difficult to call man of the match........Andy Pugh had a brilliant game, but then again, so did Ellis, Jacko at No.2 , Andrew @ No.9, Leon & Marlon.........congratulations to all. The main downside was the ref..........he might as well have worn a Fisher shirt. Diabolical decisions, but he was consistent.............against us. Had a chat with Robbie Ryan, he hopes to be back in two weeks time.
A very entertaining game. You could not fault any of our players. They were up for it and could have had a lot more goals but for an excellent performance by their goalkeeper.
They scored against the run of play but justice was done when Omari scored in the 2nd minute of injury time.
The ref was bloody hilarious. There was not one bad tackle from any of our players yet four or five are booked. There was a good shout for a penalty which he gave outside the box. The culprit should have been booked but as he'd already been booked for a bad tackle he let him off. Pathetic.
Charles Ademino was one on one with the last man and gets pulled down, a red card offence. What does the ref do to the culprit? Seeing as he'd already been booked, he wags his finger at him. Pathetic.
Lino's were just as bad and might as well have not turned up.
It seems like Tony Sinclair will be out for 4 months. Leon played in the centre with Chris Moore and looked solid.
I think the ref was just poor - not baised. The Fisher supporters thought he was a joke and wasn't giving them anything!!! Amazing how we all the view game differenlty
I thought Jacko and Marlon both had very good games last night, but was disappointed with Andy Pugh after his performance against Bromley.
What really mystifies me though is why we seem unable to play two halfs the same way,we were very good in the first not so good and pushed back in the second.
Iwould understand if this was the odd game but it seems to happen every match.
Also where has BKK disappeared to,yet again missing when the weather turns cold .I guess it's an age thing.

i ust have been watching a different game last night........
The full backs were often caught out and Patterson showed that he should only be used as a last resort at left back. Ademeno showed up well but needs to learn when to release the ball as does Mucu. Ellis looked dangerous early on but faded the longer the game went on. We deserved the lead at half time but sat back and gave them very little to worry about second half. Although the winner was an excellent goal I felt that they were more likely to win the game late on than we were.
Happy to get through and get a few quid in the kitty but still plenty of room for improvement in all areas of the field.
The reasons the fullbacks were caught out on occasions was bacause neither of tha wide players ,have a clue how to defend.
As for Charles up front not releasing the ball,I thinkthis is because he is yet another loan signing finding his way in the team before he gets recalled by his club
Loan players in my opinion are not the way forward for this club

I know this might be a bit shortsighted of me - but if the loan players are good - which they have been recently - then I'm not bothered
Thought we were good for the win yesterday do not understand why you knock the loan players what else should Neil do,all decent players would be on a contract at other clubs there for he would have to pay for them and i think we all know there's no money to buy players.
I was watching the same match as wingnut and what I saw was the reason Fisher are in freefall and we are where we are. Granted there was some half decent football but neither side looked particularly dangerous in front of goal, apart from Omari's goal which was a good one.
The longer the match went on the more Fisher looked like nicking it as we failed to close them down giving their No 4 in particular all the time in the world to pick out his passes.
Loan players are not ideal but it looks like we are going to have to rely on them as Neil cannot get a proven striker in on his budget. Yesterday, AFC Wimbledon prised want away striker John Main from Tonbridge Angels for an undiclosed fee (rumoured to be £10K+) and other undisclosed clauses which because of his age are unlikely to include a sell on so presumably something like an additional payment if AFC get promoted and the good old friendlies which seem to be the order of the day in non league. I'm pretty certain that Neil doesn't have that sort of cash available to him now or in the forseeable future and Welling offering friendlies isn't going to generate much revenue to the selling club as I'm sure Herne Bay would confirm so loan players it is.

Great result for the boys and lets hope they can make some progress in this one, particularily if it helps the finances.
Regretfully I couldn't make this one as I was working for a living unlike the affluent status of Bubbles. Apparantly its amazaing that when retirement kicks in that time manages to fill the space. I hope to get there one day, in the meantime I'll watch the goldfish to remind me.
Our Official site has confirmed Bromley as 4th and Margate as 11th. The Margate site can't make up its mind news page says 4th and fixtures page says 11th.
Setanta Shield as theConference League competition, would I'm sure take precedence over what are for us mickey mouse County games.

Bubbles, me old mucker, I have to disagree. I thought that young Pugh had a really good game. OK, he's not the tallest forward out there, but he played his socks off & laid off passes given the chance.
