Ok we need a striker, but weve needed one since pre season. We need cover at the back and we always needed at least 1 center half anyway Midfield, wide boys doing ok , Omari, full of tricks and if he gets service will and has scored. Their heads drop, does the manager pick them up? Is one of our problems morale added to a small squad probabaly lacking the quality anyway to be consistently up around the play offs.
JT, why does he go walk about so much? does he get lonely? perhaps he could where a handsfree kit and chat to his defence. Also the second goal he should have saved.
What now for us? Carry on and hope to avoid the drop? But what then? Wheres Keevil? Is Chippy finished?
Anyone agree we are struggling with the keeper and the center of midfield and need a quality stiker and some defensive cover.
Am i way off the mark?

No jgfc - you've called it about right. Even with the injuries I think we aren't too bad at the back. Marlon impresses me where ever he plays and Jacko has done well. I think they get exposed as Orlando and Ellis aren't great at getting back.
Central midfield is a real problem - I think Chippy is alright but I know there are those that don't agree. Smith is definelty not an option in my book - Keevil and Cottrell haven't convinced me yet. A solid "Jamie Day" player is required.
Up front - our attack on Saturday was loanees. Charles Ademono was excellent - strong held the ball up, good shot and I am sure will score goals. Pugh isn't up to it. Omari is our only striker so a new one is a priority. Omari needs the chance to develop a proper striking partnership - different players each week isn't going to help.
JT - his decsion making is so poor. He is an excellent shot stopper but then goes wandering - he did it again on Saturday - charged of his line and got no where near the player or ball. We were lucky the angle was too tight for him to make anything of it.
So I agree - goalkeeper, central midfield and striker are top of my list. But I suspect it ain't going to happen. Whether this is down to Smith not having the funds or down to the fact that Smith doesn't know the non league scene well enough, especially in Kent - I don't know. Probabaly a bit of both.
Although he can make some incredible saves JT is still a liability and his decision making is just not up to scratch and that must also affect the players in front of him.
We lack defensive cover which is now being exposed after the injury to Sinclair. At the meet the manager evening we were told "Leon could play anywhere including centre half although he is not a good header of the ball ?!" Mooro has been our stand out performer this season but can't do three games in a week. Ryan is solid but Leon needs to go to right back and a centre half brought in if the assistant manager is not going to play.
It is plain to all thaty Chippy and Smith can't play in the same midfield and it leaves us hopelessly exposed when they do. One or the other but not both. Ellis Green could be a diamond if they actually get more ball to him and Patterson does offer balance on the other wing but still strikes me as lightweight at this level.
Pugh is a good footballer but playing him and Ademeno together was plain daft. Big centre halves at this level will just kick them all day for fun. Coleman is very hot and cold but is a goalscorer and it should be him and one other to start. I think Ademeno will do well at this level when he gets his match fitness back.
So a keeper, another centre half, a central midfielder (not convinced by Keevil) and possibly another striker when the loans expire.
