Who is still behind him now? What positives has he brought to Welling? What has he done for Welling? How on earth can he claim to be able to sort this, out the fa cup, out the fa trophy flirting with relegation.
HE SIMPLY MUST GO, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH There is no future with him in Charge, his Squad is all over the place, i said at the time, how do you give Blackman a contract? How many strikers does he want to look at? How many Midfielders?
He MUST go!
Barrie Hobbins, you KNOW what you have to do, do it quickly and then lets have A CHANCE of avoiding relegation. Its a crap league and what neil is doing is unnaceptable, hold your hands up admit he was a wrong appointment but more than that... hes not on a contract... OUT HIM and advertise for a New Manager.
SOMEONE PROVEN!! NOT A YES MAN, SOMEONE WITH CONTACTS, SOMEONE WHOS RESPECTED
And lets do the RIGHT thing JUST ONCE!!
Bye Neil and if you aint sacked... WALK! You are NOT upto it Neil, No more excuses or promises, It is a SHAMBLES.
Its not ALL his fault he should NEVER have got the job. No more ex players or virgin managers, no more unproven managers , no more "hes the right man for the job boll*x"
GET A PROVEN MANAGER WHOS RESPECTED AND EXPERIENCED AT AT LEAST RYMAN PREMIER WHO HAS HAD SUCCESS!!
ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE. WE ARE NOT A PUB TEAM, Despite being run like one off the pitch.
PS barrie...
NOT HANDFORD NOT RUTHERFORD NOT DOLBY NOT CARPENTER NO SHORT CUT, NO GUESSING, GET SOMEONE UPTO THE JOB AND A PROVEN SUCCESS....

I have to agree with the points above made by JgFc.
Wealdstone are a struggling side in the League below us and they have beaten us twice - THAT MUST SURELY BE THE LAST STRAW or are we waiting to fall into the beckoning arms of the Ryman League.

It never once looked like being the correct decision to appoint him, and i personally feel those saying give him time are too leniant on the clubs owner. WE MUST DEMAND that things are done correctly. BARRIE its over to you (again).

I must admit that now I agree with JgFc and Bruno. If we can't beat struggling sides like Wealdstone or Dorchester, what else can we do? I hoped that Neil would turn things around and get the side motivated enough to be amongst the top boys, but as it stands, we will be also rans. We need a manager that has experience..I know that everyone has to start somewhere and full credit to Neil for wanting to take on the job, but he isn't up to it. From playing himself, to tactically poor decisions, now is the time for him to go. Lets hope that the board see sense and appoint a manager with his finger on the pulse................
I don't know if any of the above where there but I was - this was bad - very very bad. Worst performance I can remember seeing - which given some of our performances this season is going something. Clueless would be an over statment. Smith didn't start himself - but brings himself on for the second half and does nothing apart from give away free kicks. So we have Chippy, Smith and Keevil in central midfield. Boyce who was on the right in midfield comes off and guess what they attack down that side all half. They had an outlet there all second half. Tactically stupid.
They should ahve won by more. They showed us up - they passed the ball - we couldn't string together two passes. Clueless in midfiled and nothing up front. The defense was also shocking today.
I didn't see Barrie at the game but he must know the time has come. The travelling support were very vocal in their opinion a the end of the game - I wasn't too close but Smith seemed to react angrily to the criticism - don't know if anyone was closer and can say what happened.
We are in free fall and deteriorating. We have seen signs that there are good performers in this side but Smith can't get it out of them. I would like to think he would do the honourable thing but as I have said before he seems to me to be an arrogant man and I think he will need to be shown the door.
