Yes and WALOB that is.... Im sure they may have paid a bit extra for that ... nudge nudge,
Why on earth would you promote someone from sub leasees to the club to equal tennants when they never helped with the lights.
Our only hope is the squatters cease trading and feck off. Well done Welling! Great decision that!
Please tell me why Erith are now joint tennants. Maybe PG can get an in depth piece on why this has happened because frankly i find it amazing that we have allowed this to happen.

That is bad - how does that work then. They are equal tennants but if something goes wrong we pay for it. What are they contributing towards a groundsman. I also think about the Welling fans who put in that effort each year pre-season to get the ground looking good. So they do nothing apart from enjoy the benefits. We can't afford players because of the flood lights and they go merrily on. Like to see the terms of that deal.
Hopefully Paul will do a good peice and ask some serious questions. It does seem a bit of a bonus for erith, after all we paid for half of "their" stand and now they are apparantly equal tennants who dont do eff all!!!

more to the point, why did the conference give us newport away on the saturday first of all and then replace it with a shield game - means we have to go to newport midweek instead now.
Its not and never has been our ground. Its owned by the council. If the council want E+B as joint tenants (probably so they can get more cash from them) then we have no choice but to agree - unless the club fancies building a new ground of their own.
But the point is Glen is what do they contribute? Are they providing a groundsman? Are they paying for the floodlights? It seems a very one sided agreement. I think we would like to hear more about how all works. Who pays want and who provides what?
Maybe the old deal didnt require E+B to pay for anything but the new one, as joint tenants or whatever, does include such a requirement. I'm sure the club doesn't do everything wrong all the time - maybe it had to be a joint deal to ensure that they pay their fair share in any future costs?
Glen thats a very valid point. Likewise thats only guessing, You do seem very pro the club Glen and more often than not coming down on their side. Not haveing a go at you just something i have noticed. As if the club can do no wrong all the time when clearly they arent doing much right.

If any Bexley resident wanted information on the lease could they request it from the council under the freedom of information act. I am not sure of what is and what is not available under the terms of the FOI any lawyers know?
