why are we signing players from lower leagues teams.sam tucknott who been playing for the ressies for worthing and a striker whos only scored 2 league goals for folkstone.what a waste of money.........................
Tucknott plays that silly futsal crap! And the bloke for Folkestone aint good enough. (He cant score for a crap team in a crap league, how is he gonna score for a crap team in a better league?) Theres trying to find a rough diamond and theres taking the piss and managing like Hellen Keller....
WTF IS SMITH DOING.... SIGNING STRIKERS WITH A PROVEN RECORD OF NOT SCORING!!!
AND HE WONDERS WHY WE CANT SCORE! Come on this is a joke right??
We can only assume that barrie hobbins is entirely happy that his choice for manager is doing things correctly. He hired him! And he keeps him in control.
SHAMBLES
Who hopes we lose on Saturday so Smith either walks or gets sacked? It might be a means to an end.... THE END OF SMITH and his shambolic management.
Smith if you were any kind of Manager you would SACK Ellis Green, Release one/some of your forwards. Reduce YOUR WAGES and go get a decent striker.
YOU HAVENT GOT A CLUE SON! JUST GO AND GO NOW!

We had the chance to sign Sam Tucknott when he was with us at the end of last season. The fact that we did not and are doing so now smacks of desperation.
If he performs as before he will put in a lot of effort but I dont think he is the answer to what we need ie goals from a proven striker at this level
I thought he had something but was a bit headstrong and a bit of a headless chicken on the pitch. With the right reigning in/positional discipline he may be able to do a job. However, I agree with BKK if he wasn't good enough at the start of the season how has he suddenly become so and desperation is the word that springs to mind and he's not proven goalscorer at this level or even the one below it.

2 new signings --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Little clue Neil - there is usually a reason why players who at 23 have had a dozen clubs.
remind us all again how many clubs Kedwell had before he came to Welling? how so many people knocked him when Ade signed him 3 years ago? You might not get it right every time but at least give the player a go and see what happens, he hasnt even put a shirt on for Welling yet.
Lets not fight among ourself. The facts are neil hasnt got a clue or the capabilities to spot a player or build a team. hes taking long shots and guesses and the season gets worse.
NEIL, I am begging you... Its hard enough with the Hobbins in charge, But with you as manager too we really are sailing down the brown creek. You are the worst Manager in the clubs history. GO NOW
PLEASE RESIGN and do something right!!

THAT VIDEO HAS JUST MADE MY AFTERNOON I LAUGHED SO LOUD jgfc VERY GOOD.
Must Say Ellis hold up play today was excellent all the chances fell to charlie and he wasted them as regards the pen it was a great save and sometimes a goalie deserves credit.
why is it we are looking for players in the lower leagues, when there better strikers in the same league or higher are sitting on the bench.players like Scott Fitzgerald at Basingstoke,Kirk Hudson of Aldershot,Chukki Eribenne of Ebbsfleet.I could go on.......................
Good spot, Chukki is proven at this level for one. I think its possibly because we would have to pay money to get us someone really decent. The last time we did this I think was Steve Harper, although I stand to be corrected. Some years ago we poked out I beleive £4k on Derek Brown.
The likes of Keds are few and far between and we are not going to turn over nuggets all the time. I dont know how much we have got recently via Keds tribunal and the floodlights but if we drop futher into the poo we may have no choice. Interesting coment from a mate yesterday in that he wont renew his season ticket at the mo as he feels it smacks of desperation and if the club goes down the pan before the end of the season he wont get his money back.
Its a massive gamble to buy a seson ticket now - even with the reduced prices. The club could go out of business - crowd down to 402 yesterday. Looked less to me. We have no idea what league we will be in - Blue Square South looks unlikely. If we do drop then I would have thought admission will have to drop. We are one of the most expensive in this league - at least £2.00 less for the Southern or Ryman I would suggest. By then we will be a serious downward spiral unless we get new investment or a miracle maker as a manager. Both seem unlikely as things stand.
