Ive had a dig at Barney on here over the last few days and i would like to apologise to Phil, if he reads this.

What i was told about how he left the club was wrong, I can confirm and would like to state that although Phil was offered the Managers job, he didnt just piss off to Eastleigh as i came across on here he seriously considered it and dod some work behind the scenes but he felt he didnt have the time  (his business life and home life) to do the post justice.

I know Phil is Welling through and through having known him for over 20 years through the club and i would like to apologise to him if i went way over the top.

I wont go into more details, but i understand Phil has been at the club recently on a social level with friends.

Sorry Phil, I was fed bum info with a lot of spin on it and the frustration of the way the club is being run added to the results and i let rip both barrels at you because of what i had heard which i now believe to be wrong.
