.....extention at Ebbsfleet until 2008/2009 season http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/g/gravesend_and_northfleet/7190175.stm Could we go for an internet buyout? Could the members choose the team & have their say on other matters? I beleive it's a Managers job to manage the team and not the shareholders........what do you think? __________________

I totally agree. A manager should have the only say on what players to buy and what team to play. Look at the farcical situation at Tottenham where Commoli goes out spending a fortune on players that Jol didn't want. I hope Ramos will be a bit stronger than Jol in that department. It looks like Commoli's biggest mistake Bent is going. I just wish he'd go too and take all the so called Directors of Football with them. __________________

I think it'll be a farce. Interestingly I heard Daish on Radio Kent a few weeks back saying he hoped the takeover wouldn't change anything to do with the management - picking the team and managing the players was his job. I'm sure an envelope of cash put pay to those comments! Graham __________________ Graham
