Whilst not wanting to start the week on the back foot, we are playing the top of the table at the weekend and are three points clear of the bottom three. If things go against us from the teams around us and we lose we could be in the poo come Sat. eve
Results went against us at the week-end. Lets hope the new signings can help us pick up some points. I would hope that there will be an appointment for manager this week - delay can't help.
I agree they need to get it right but uncertainty isn't going to help the situation. It is two weeks now since Smith went - they took ages to appoint in the Summer. A lot of the ground work could have be done before Smith left. We are one place above the relegation zone and there is a need to sort quickly.
I agree that the game being cancelled on Saturday was good. We would have struggled to get anything out of it and let's hope we are performing better by the time the re-arranged game is played
It has to be the right decision to make upfor their wrong decisions in appointing Smith then sticking with him for far too long.
If the club go back on their word and appoint someone not experienced at our level or above then crowds will drop big time and i predict lots to walk away for good.
This is the clubs chance to do the right thing and get the right man. If they dont appoint Coc kerill or Ford then appoint someone less experienced and successful then they are clearly not for changing in their ways and running of the club and also lie to their customers... Interesting few days ahead...
No excuses No backtracking No lies....

Too bloody true, I couldn't agree more. Would it worry the Hobbins if we dropped down a league though? After all the fiasco over the floodlights, last seasons money being taken away from Ade, etc, etc..........why should they worry? It appears that they couldn't give a flying f**k what happens. In the press, they want to do the right thing, but in reality, the club has been lower than a rattlesnakes arse for years. If teams like Tonbridge can pay their players / manager a decent wage and attract others to join, what the heck is our aim? We need to have the situation sorted ASAP.
Mark, expand on saying wrong please. Its much better to give an opinion and explain why rather than just saying wrong. Just looks like you are blindly supporting the club when you maybe not.

I really believe that the club and the owners etc do NOT want relegation at all
There is no real advantage for that happening
Would the wages be lower - No - Look at Chelmsford, Billericcy Dover etc
Would the crowds be better - No
Would the travel be less - possibly but not to any great significant level
There was no fiasco ocer the lights - They were expensive - the club looked for funding but Grahams untimely intervened in this although I have to say that we now have excellent light
We have many contacts in the 'Conference' set up and these would be lost
I see absolutley no advantage to being relegated whatsoever
If they wanted that then why not leave Smith in charge
Why not get in another player manager (which we trust will not be happening)
I will stress again instead of criticising please help wherever you can
