Would seem to make a nonsense of seeking applications if you then give the job to someone who doesn't do that sort of thing. I wonder if that stretches to interviews for jobs as well, maybe he just expects to be offered it on a plate. Maybe that why he is where he is. I hope the Club don't touch him with a barge pole.
hmm... I can see where people are coming from and I think its our Andy's way to come across slightly arrogant but would people want an arogant manager that brought you success or a polite manger who brought you nohting?
I think the club should speak to Andy and at least suss him out
Maybe his arrogance is what we need ? It's my belief that we need a manager who can manage from the touchline & not on the pitch. Smudger just shouted abuse at the guys when he was playing & Nethercott just shouted. If we are to succeed, we need a manager / coach that the players can rely on. An experienced manager to get us out of the do - do that we are in at present. If you had your way TTTE, Spud & Courtjester, who would you choose and why?
I agree with Mark, we have a couple of proper non league managers who have done ok above our level and have expressed an interest. Looking up IF the right man is appointed.

According to the recent comments in the local press by Andy Ford, he would appear to be an arrogant individual. It is interesting to note that he did not last too long at Stevenage and, if he is as talented as he thinks he is, he should certainly have been offered a job there. He resigned from Gravesend in January, 2005 and wonder if he is sufficiently in touch with Conference South football after not being actively involved since then. Obviously his arrogance gets in the way of him getting a job as a Manager.
