You can't read anything into him being at the match. He has said he is interested in the job so turning up to watch is good to impress the owners that he is interested and if he should get the job then he has some ideas about what he needs to do.
I don't think a decision has been made and there may be others in with a shout, but I would put my money on him getting it.
Thought the other name in the hat was John yeames who is on the backroom staff at Grays athletic which is why they would not announce it till after last nights game
Must admit that Andy Ford was always my preferred choice but bearing in mind his time out of the game in comparrison to Glen Cxxxerhill it must be a disadvantage in terms of recent experience and contacts.
I would however like to be proved wrong in the long run
