Have to say fair play to the club for sticking by their word and whittling the candidates to proven applicants.
I hope Andy Ford gets it as i think he has better contacts and knows the area.
I will however support whoever is appointed . its nice to praise the club and see they appear to be trying to do things right. lets hope this continues.
I am surprised to see that Andy Ford is on the short list. Are Welling United really big enough for him in view of his arrogant comments in the local paper. Is Welling United only a stop gap job for him (we are only in the Conference South). I understand that he has been out of football for some considerable time which is not an ideal situation because the new manager must hit the ground running and I am not convinced that he is really up for the battle to stay in the Conference South.
According to the local paper, Glenn ****erill is really keen on the job and he only left Woking in March (in contrast to Andy Ford) and was keen enough to attend the Lewes game on Saturday. I did not see Andy Ford at the game perhaps he was applying for more important jobs elsewhere.
