If ever a result didnt tell the whole story then today was a prime example. We were excellent, we looked like the side going for play offs not Braintree. The ref was a total disgrace today, Im all for showing the refs more respect but it's very hard when they perform like he did today. Special mention for Sonny Cobbs wont be long before he is in the Brighton first team immense today
Heads up boys, today I felt proud to be a Wings fan again soemthing I have not feltfor a long long time.
Couldn't agree more with the first post. It was the first time in a long long while where I came away without feeling really down - we played good football for a lot of the match, and in my opinion were the better team.
Before the Newport game in all honesty I expected 'nil points', and I think at least a point today would have been fair. Who knows what Monday will bring?
If it was Steve Williams last game - thanks to him - he done a very good job covering JT. I understand he's the goalkeeping coach at Sittingbourne - Perhaps would be useful in the squad???
Also, I thought Ellis Remy was pretty decent when he came on...on todays performance I would expect him to start in place of Daniel Nwanze - up front with Sam, and Mucu on the left.
I agree we woz robbed. We played really well and big prasie to the management team for the work they have done in a short time.
If there was a mistake today it was taking off Dan Nwanze. I thought he added a bite to midfield that had been lacking this season. We were all over them when he went off and there was only one side going to win, but he came off and they scored shortly afterwards - was a good hit to score from 30 yards. Didn't think we looked as dangerous with Dan off and playing 442. 451 looked better.
