Hi Spitey, Thank you for your comments and having been here a year this week, I hope you have all noticed an improvement in the News Shopper's Welling United coverage online. This certainly isn't down to me alone by any means and great credit must go to Sunni, Mark and Kevin who have all helped out with regular reports. I understand some of you have reservations about the fact there is only one page in the paper and also the demise of the Bexley Extra. That leaves just us and the Bexley Times and I can promise you now I will continue trying to make sure our Wings coverage remains a lot better than anything you read in that next season.
Paul any chance of a piece on how Welling and Erith operate side by side and how the groundshare came about. How it benefits Welling if it does at all. What kind of commitments do each club have to the ground with regards to improvements and rennovations etc etc. Is it a joint tenancy or do Erith sub let from Welling as was the case i think at the start.
Has the new lease meant that Erith are liable for more than they were.
Some might say its none of the fans business, its all been a little vaigue and there maybe some misconceptions etc. I dont expect the NS to go creating arguements but would be nice to give the clubs the opportunity to give their views etc etc and a bit of background on the groundshare as (unfortunately in my opinion) it seems here to stay now.
Maybe a decent filler for the close season.
