"Apparently Josh Willis, our trialist keeper suffered a particularly nasty injury. He was stretchered off midway through the first half with what has been described as a very nasty cut on his upper thigh. It has been alleged that this was caused by a blade on a boot that perhaps did not conform to set standards.
The 'keeper merry go round continued as Jamie Reilly went off midway through the second half and was replaced by the Welling 'keeper, a dirty great big bloke who looked quite good.
Until he (on purpose, I bet) let in the single goal of the game to give Welling the win in what was a very even, if slightly uninspiring, match."
