I also agree with Graham that was a great TEAM performance always backing up each other, over laps, one touch passing the lot! ellis and Ryan are top players but need to pass at least three times in a game - i think a ceratin Mucu will find it very hard to get in the team.
It was one of the only times in my 8 years of going welling that i never felt they were going to get anywhere we really do look strong all over the pitch and to have Smith,Blackburn and Pinnock to come off the bench well in last years team they would be first teamers with out a doubt - that is how strong i fill this squad is.
Gutted i can not make Sat but Spud will be pleased to know i am going out to eat some food lol!
Great game, good all round performance from the wings. First 20 mins we looked nervous but once we started passing and getting the wide players (martin and green) we were in control. Should have been more but hey.. a wins a win! Looking forward to many more and time to be optimistic for a change!
Excellent game and a brilliant free kick. I was impressed by the whole teams attitude and was delighted to see our players taking on their defenders on both flanks. Ellis appears to be a better player so far - his endless running all over the park was great to see. One player for a special mention - Craig Braham-Barrett. Excellent in defence and ran at their defenders at every opportunity. He looked faster than one of JgFc's greyhounds Well done to all concerned.
