An each way bet can't be bad to see us in the final (I take it an each way bet on this would be just runners up? rather than 1-2-3-4 i.e. semi finalists)
its a good price but it jus isnt goin 2 happen weve made a fantastic start 2 the season ad well done ford and dacky for that but wen u fink weve plad teams that r all in the bottom half, we looked kid of poo against basingstoke and then to think that there are teams in the league above us involved, we might have a good run and make the quarters.
I just had a look at Blue Square and they've got Havant Gotaclueville at 50/1, Bromley at 100/1, Fisher at 125/1, Bath City at 200/1 and Stale Buns at 250/1.
Just shows they don't always know what they're doing.
To the un-trained eye your reasoning is quite sound, however, in my humble opinion I can't see us getting beat by anyone this season. We will obviously finish as champions and I would suggest that you get yourself down to the local betting establishment and have a punt.
The team which wins the League are likely to lose around 7 games based on previous seasons (though Grays only lost 4 in 2004/5) and the telling feature will be the number of draws added to that.
The last playoff place is likely to go to a team which loses around 11 games and again the telling feature will be the number of draws added to that.
Judging by what we have seen so far the playoff place seems to be the safest bet.
