I too was one of the disgruntled paying public from Saturday, but one thing we've got to remember is we didn't lose. We are in the draw tomorrow and Wednesday the slate is clean. Our team is young and they will learn, one thing I want to see in the reply is our everyone 1 - 11 give there all, work rate, aggression and flair.
I believe this is potentially one of the best bunch of players we have had at this club in a long time, but the ball is in our team's court, otherwise they will just be another blip in the history of Welling Utd.
I have to agree with Matt that it was none too special on Saturday and nobody in a red shirt came out with much credit from that game.
However we are still in the competition and weren't the only Conference South team to struggle against lower league opposition on Saturday. I expect fans of Bromley, Chelmsford and Thurrock would happily swap places with us this morning in being in the draw for the next round.
Here's hoping that Wednesday will be a lot better and I hope a few Wings fans travel to give the team some support.
