Newport radio crying about the ref, saying should have had a free kick and could cost them dearly! also that Jerome Anderson should have been booked for delaying a free kick by County.

Welling had about 5 chances not tested teh keeper apart from 1 header. Newport Radio says Welling had the greater of possession so far. I think we need a goal as have had the wind with us in the first half so far.

Just got in expecting game to be in final stages but still 25+ mins to go. Logged onto Newport's radio and sounds like Newport finally getting in game with a couple of shots on goal in fairly quick succession though Welling have had the better of what is described as a shapeless disappointing game.

Sounds like we created so many chances that fell to Baker and Anderson , Also sounds like Blackburn, Cobbs, Sheringham and Anderson played well. We created enough chances to win 5 or 6 games and they should get the heads up and know that when they start scoring we will be fine.
2 Points lost? Maybe but probably lots to be positive about. Shooting practice needed methinks. Andy looks to have set us up perfectly today but if you created chances into double figures and take NONE you dont deserve to win.

Enough chances to have won five games,what i saw today was two very poor sides niether won deserved to have won,so stop the back slapping because unless both sides buck up they will be in a battle to stay up at the end of the season
The radio commentary described chances in double figures. Matthew Pantings report suggests Welling wasted a sackful of chances.
Its not as if they never created anything is it. Anonymous postings on here lately are either spiked with abuse or negative when there are positive thoughts and ambitions at the club.
If they were cutting budgets, cutting squad size, creating nothing and dropping like a stone through the league i could expect some shyte posts. But one or two anons really are posting 80llox

Dont listen to that smock, The Wings were superb yesterday defensively sound with Sinclair and Macca having storming games (and im not Macca's biggest fan) The reason why we didnt take our chances was because we seemed to panic in front of goal, but even though we arrived late we came out and took the game to our hosts so for that we should be very pleased. I had to catch a cab at the end of the game in order to make the train home but so I was unable to clap them off so I would like to offer my congrats to a very well deserevd point.
For a goalless draw - it was actually very entertianing - Newport won't feel so as they were out played throughout. Anon got it right above. I too dashed off in a taxi to catch the train - the 25 minute delay made it tight - we certainly deserved more and played some good football.
I sat in the main stand as I normally do for Wings games - I have never heard such a moany lot - every challenge they were shouting for a foul/yellow card/sending off. The abuse they gave one of their own players who was subbed just after half time was shocking.
