Del was discharged from Queen Marys Hospital last night (Monday) after a succesful operation to fix his double fracture. Del had a steel rod inserted into the leg which according to his surgeon is the quickest way for recovery. Thanks to everyone who sent get well wishes.

Del went back to the Hospital on Friday and had his stiches removed and new dressing appled. The surgeon was pleased with the way things are progressing so far and is confident that he will be able to put weight on the leg in three weeks or so.

He's also dead keen on my idea of Charlton V Welling charity scrabble as a rematch.

7 letters : AIMNBSG ....any ideas
