If you cant pass it you cant pass it, The center halfs was useless, Leberl is past it. The defensive midfielder is a headless chicken and they crack under pressure. Get someone in Mains pocket (Sinc lair). Get Keds "welcomed" early by Macca and cut out the front two and have our wide boys wipping balls in and getting the center half out of position. Charlie can unlock that pair of robots.

They are SHYTE we have nothing to fear, Dont let them play and get into them. They have enough weaknesses where they should be worried about us. This is time for us to do what we do best.

Andy has got the defence playing well. I am sure he has a gameplan and i am backing Andys game plan to pay dividends and the players to continue their progression during this test.

I truly believe we have nothing to fear and the Dons have too many weaknesses to bully us. We will have several outs even if the Dons get their way at certain times.

Only saw the first 45 minutes last night but I think there is plenty for us to be positive about before Saturday. Their defending was appalling and I would have been upset if the supporters team had conceded those first two goals.
 
Of course the result might work against us as the manager will have them fired up to bounce back and you have to respect their front two but, on the basis of what I saw last night, I am quite optimistic about our chances of turning them over.

Lets hope for good weather, a good performance on front of a big crowd and three more points.

There more holes in your defence than in a sieve. Jake Leberl is he in the side cos you have injuries? Did you get the number 4 in a box of frosties? Does Main just try sometimes? Do you know how to pass or do you just kick it anywhere?

Whats it like being a plastic club with no history? Even if you do go up. You will go the same way as Grays, Hornchurch (No Offence Unc) etc etc etc.

Is it worth it for a few years of bandwaggon mania and pretending you are anuthing but plastic and buying success.

Oh well. Good luck when you go up and PMFSL when you come back down.

Bexley United ceased to exist a year before Welling got the ground. At least Welling play in their correct borougn. Since when was kingston in the London Borough of Merton.

You would be better off supporting Kingstonian. At least they are a proper club.

How much did your fans pay to Kingstonian when you ponced in at their ground?? LOL we paid toward the Cricket side stand when they (Erith) came to Squat i dont believe they paid towards the new floodlights... Did Kingstonian pay towards your improvements at stadio del plasticos?

PS can your players read? hope so cos they cant pass a football or defend. I saw more hoofs there than at a ranch in texas.

Very ambitious players you must have there. After all Jon Main and Kedwell have had more trials than Barry George and more clubs than Sergio Garcia. Leberl he must be about 47 now i hope he can run when the wings squadron of wingers and midfielders run at him.

You must be utterly shyte cos normally these money bags teams are 52 points clear by now in this league.

Can I just say on behalf of all Welling fans, that JgFc is actually becoming a bit of an embarrassment to us. It seems he is the only one who holds such vitriol towards an obviously decent AFC Wimbledon team.
And as for the quote about not having seen Welling this year, I wished you put more effort into going along to PVR to support the boys rather than causing embarrassment to them on online chat rooms.

i posted a thread on wellings forum about how crap they were. and it has been agreed by others, then a few of their bandwaggoners come on YOU have a dig at them lol then you a nobody, a nothing have a dig at me. just do me afavour and dont talk to me as you seem to be a bit wishy washy and change your mind.

are you a labour voting teacher too?? or at uni?? pmsl

unfortunately i get rather busy on match days and still not ready to commit time and money at pvr as thats going on my greyhounds. Plus the radio got banned and i have a feeling Wimbledon will be allowed to do theirs. And newport theirs.

Last saturday i went to Hull, prebiously Nottingham, this Saturday Sheffield etc etc watching my greyhounds and spent more in ONE DAY than you will spend in a season following Welling, so do me afavour and dont talk to me and definitely dont have a pop cos you might regret it.

Our players play for the shirt, their players play for the pay packet and are a plastic club with no history who were formed 6 years ago. Keds cried off and then when he couldnt hit a barn door for Grays cried off there again. Main couldnt get in a league team so ... an ex manager got him tapped up... Ethics are dear to me and ethos and anyone that just wants to do what they like and think they are it can f r o!!

This is the last thing I will say on the matter..............
I can say what I like thank you because I've been to several Wellng games home and away this season, dranks in the bar, bought cups of tea and a manky burger from that greasy trailer round the back, bought programmes and bought a home shirt, so therefore I've directly contributed to the funds of the club and that certainly doesn't make me a nobody.
No i'm not a student, nor am I a boy. I'm a married man in my late 20's with a full time job. And I don't vote for Labour!
So far this year Welling have played on a Tuesday, a Wednesday, a Thursday I believe, and on a saturday. Loads of chances to go along to PVR.
I posted my first comment on here cos I didn't like the way AFC fans had come on here, took the time to register, and posted unconstructive rubbish on here, but to be fair, it was stated by an unconstructive post. Lets be honest, they played poorly against superior opposition. Lets hope that don't happen to Welling on Saturday.

We owe money for the ground and if u knew anything will find Chelmsford Newport.....H&W.....Maidenhead and Braintree pay highest wages to players.

What's wrong with letting the football do the talking on Saturday?

Whatever our personal views about AFC may be (and there are many who respect the progress they have made in such a short time) they are faring better than us in the league at the moment but we are back on track and 3 points on Saturday would go down well.

Yes by all accounts they didn't play too well in their cup tie but they can only play as well as their opponents let them so we know what we have to do and we have players capable of doing it.

Lets not forget that this will be a testing time for them as the impact of the Cup game will show them the true character of their players.

agree with bruno - and for me they are the REAL wimbledon - not franchise fc

we've had the little dicks coming on here who i will ignore - im sure most wimbledon fans will be fine on saturday but i expect them to bring their "hooligans" who are trumped up chavs who act like that **** danny dyer but i could be wrong

and i have total repsect for our players and manager - we have a real team spirit at the moment as players WANT to play for us - for example the Loui signing - we are heading in the right direction and it will be good to beat the biggest team in the league on saturday

i know i cant wait - come on ypu wings!!

sorry but they do - this version of the club hasnt been around long but as far as im concerned they have all the history of wimbledon - i read somewhere that franchise fc have given back a load of stuff to them relating to past glories?

Nothing wrong with Colchester - even won a game at their new ground biggrin
As for AFC Wimbledon, I have every respect for them.  They are higher in the league than us and progressed further in the FA Cup. They met better opposition and lost.  The test will be on Saturday and bring it on.
They will then see the new Wings - good game in prospect and a good result for us.

I think AFC Wimbledon fans deserve a lot of respect. Their club was taken from them & moved to deepest, darkest Buckinghamshire & had its name changed. They started a new club at the bottom of the pyramid (a bit of a culture shock after so many years in the Premiership) & have worked their way up.

Since they began, their crowds have remained consistently at the 2-3,000 mark, so calling them "bandwagon" doesn't make any sense whatsoever. If they do pay higher wages than most in our division, it's hardly surprising given the revenue they get from their supporters. I imagine most clubs in our division would be deligted to get that level of support.

As for not playing in their own borough, they tried their damndest to move back to Plough Lane but weren't able to, largely because of the intransigence of their local council, both before the move to MK and once AFC had been established. Given no options within their borough they moved to the nearest suitable ground. They bought that when Kingstonian were on the brink of going out of business due to be shafted by their owners. When I went to a Kingstonian match last season, the fans & officials I spoke to spoke higly of AFC & how they had conducted themselves.

It's correct that MK Dons have passed all of the FA Cup & other memorabilia to AFC Wimbledon. Quite rightly too; legally they're a different entity to the old Wimbledon but if any club is the natural heir its them.

That said, I hope we stuff them on Saturday!
