Am I being tight or do people agree with me that it is a joke that we were charging full price admission to watch the fringe players face Sittingbourne?
As I said in another thread £10 is a lot to some people but tonight we had a lot more 1st teamers than fringe players. In addition 120 minutes of football and you could sit for free if you wanted to!
If that is the case then we need to get the pennies through the gate
I agree that the credit crunch is/has taken hold but really will a couple of quid make a difference to you (and if it does then maybe you shouldn't be going at all) whereas it does make a difference to the running of our club
We are getting close to a decent side (although if Louis goes we will take a step backwards again)
Lets make sure we get as many at the game on saturday behind the wings cos we know it will be like an away game and it is one where the players really have to stand up and be counted as the crowd will be on their back
I would suggest that just opening the ground last night with what I guess was a small crowd will have barely been covered by the gate money
We are obliged to play in these competitions and of course winning breeds winning
