Fair play to Charlie yesterday he took his goals like a proper centre foward he hasnt scored in the league since the start of September but looking at him you would not have known it. The second goal was a goal his dad would have been proud of!

The trio of Louis Flack, Baker, and Charlie seems to have clicked. Oh and a special mention for Parkinson when I heared that he was starting I thought oh dear, and although he had first ten after that he was awesome. Parks and Ryan Johnson just show you the talent that lurks benath us in the lower leagues.

Ryan Johnson in one word Imense!

I was pleased for Charlie, a bit of confidence could do him wonders. I certainly think there's a lot of potential to be unlocked with him.

Yes indeed, Graham.

I remember back in '71 I slipped my cuffs down at Brighton Magistrates and went on the run with Martin Burridge, the nephew of one John Burridge, soon-to-be legendary goal keeper of both Palace and QPR, before spending a spell as national coach of Iraq.

We plotted up on the manor of some old bird who used to turn tricks behind Shoreham working men's club and between the two of us, managed to devise a cunning plan to get us both over to Holland to watch a second division game of Martin's choice.

It wasn't long until things started to go tits up though. I caught "Budgie" throwing one up the Tom in question while he should have been casing the local bookmaker's for an opportunity for us to blag a little extra spending money to take with us on our adventure.

If I remember rightly, a couple of English sovereigns got you enough Dutch Guilders to enjoy a fairly risque weekend sunk to the proverbials up some of Holland's finest strumpets. We'll that was it for me! I admit it, I lost my cool and gave both Budgie and the Tom a good backhander before getting on my toes and heading alone down to the bookies'.

If this helped Charlie, then I'm pleased to have helped.
