And that word still does'nt come close to describe Welling's performance today.

What is it with us playing lower league sides in the cup?

I dont fancy are chances Tuesday either!!

You're right - it wasn't as good as abysmal. Only positve for me was seing Masters back in goal and he made some good saves to give a chance in a replay that we don't deserve.

A poor display from the Wings. This is going the same way as the Whyteleafe debacle. I think some of our players think it is going to be easy when they play these lower league sides. Tony Sinclair for example was particularly bad today but he has been one of the most consistent players this season. At least we had a good goalie today otherwise we would have lost. Once Fazackerley went off today we did not have a clue. Mucu is clearly not match fit.

At least we won't have a fixture backlog!!

Your spot on Winkleman I think the players think they have a god given right to beat teams like Totton but it dont happen. We are not going to win the Trophy but a few wins are desperate to get money in the bank.

Alot of teams went out to lower league sides today so it could be worse but I just cant see us winning on Tuesday, I would be more confident if we were playing Wimbledon!!

p.s There kepper was bang out of order today. There was no need to turn to the fans and cheer when they scored he wasnt getting any stick so why the reaction which ws always going to piss people off. He let his club down today which was a shame because, (as annoying as they were) the Totton fans were excellent.

Agree with above, totally hopeless today of particular note was a lack of desire in winning challenges.
On a separate point where was Sanchez Ming today?

Both Sanchez and Jack were both unable to play 2day because either cup tied or in Sanchez case was not allowed to play. How poor ws rob quinn today as well

Some agreement not to play him in the trophy games apparently but I haven't got to the bottom of with who!!

According to Andy Ford's notes in a recent programme, Gray's can recall Ming at any time so presumably he is currently on loan and was not allowed to play in the Trophy.

It would be nice if this could be clarified on the official website or maybe the News Shopper or Kent Online could investigate.

He is NOT a Grays player as far as I know

Was a Fisher player Wayne Burnett left as Manager to go to Grays and that is where it comes from

I see Lisney has "Left" Fisher....

So is he now concentrating on Welling or working at Millwall and 37 other clubs. Or is he unpaid in football now and relying on his day job.

I ask as interested in Garys commitment to Welling and if welling are the sole focus now football wise. Interesting that Jim Dean wasnt mentioned so is Jim or was Jim at Fisher in a low key unofficial capacity? And is he still at Fisher?

agree their keeper was out of order and also their number 2, diving and feigning injury. What makes me laugh is they time wasted - they were the only team that looked liked winning it in the second half! I hope it comes back to haunt them if we get a result on Tuesday night. On paper it's a great result for Totton, but if you were there, very negative from them.

Thought their fans were some of the most annoying I've ever heard. Singing absolute nonsense about anything and the people in front of me didn't have a clue about football - bit like the ref.
