Davo, I know you must feel a little dis-heartened to have missed the goal and the penalty . But seriously know one blames you so chin up , I felt that we played very well and certainly came out the brighter of the 2 teams the second half and felt sure we would get back into the game and by god we did.
I thought we put in a brilliant performance in the second half and just felt we was a bit unlucky not to get the win.
I have to say it was not a penalty miss but a good save by the keeper he went the right way, you placed the shot to the bottom right hand corner and he choose the right direction.
I for one am very proud of the performance you guy's put in the second half, I felt that Welling had the better of us in the first half. As for the tossers behind Barfs from Welling they really do need to get a life and learn a few manners!
The ref had a shocking game and really didn't help!
We will bounce back from this and we have a few games in hand in the league we really need to make these count and I like many other believe that come the end of the season will finish in the top 2, no pressure!

they really do seem very scarey? are you sure totton isnt some kind of bermuda triangle type thing or an experiment?
they do love them selves though on their forum and website, football league team elect AKA bandwaggon. and one filled with banjo players and Polydactyls

You seem to have too much to say and nothing to back it up with....shame.
still with over 3200 posts on a quiet forum it seems that you need a life and to get out more as you have too much time on your hands posting here and leaving **** all over other teams forums.
Still if you ever want to sort your issues out as you seem a really great and powerful guy....lol.... you know where them redneck, inbred, weird looking , hull like people are.
Come put your bollocks where your mouth is. Ting Tong.
What did you make of your keeper's antics on Saturday and by the sounds of it last night?
Do you not think he too has let your club down? To make it worse he is an actual employee of your club. JGFC is just a fan of Welling
The thing on Saturday that infuriated all us fans was that your keeper was getting no stick at all and for some reason he just started goading us when you scored, in my eyes your keeper is a disgrace and im so glad he got his come up ence.
I am pi$$ing myself here that you felt the need to come on here and cry. Well im sending your ip address and also your posts to simon cowell and also to cheryl baker so ner!
If your little club didnt act so billy big b0llox you wouldnt get any stick.

Guys, Just a quick one to say sorry for the miss at the end of the game last night, a lot of people have said nice things about it but as captain I know that I cost us the win in the end... The lads had done a fantastic job in both games and we deserved and should have won. I would just like to thank the fans for the support during this tie, you deserved the win as much as the team did. I didnt have the best nights sleep and will be very miserable for a couple of days but come saturday will be raring to go and get on a run to win this league as the way we play we deserve it!! Sorry again and roll on saturday, as I said in the dressing room I am in to see the physio tomorrow to mend a broken heart, you any good at fixing them Bricey!!! Up the Stags!

Don't worry Davo don't think it was a penalty anyway, I also don't think we
played as good as we have done it always seems when we play at home.
don't blame yourself there was a full squad on that pitch , And they all could have do better, but that's gone and lets get on with the next game.
sorry if im to harsh but thats my opinion.
love Doris xx

Might be a little bit harsh Doris in fairness but we know you are behind the lads, we were not quite as good as saturday last night but were still very good at times and are playing a team on verge of Conference South play offs and should have beaten them... But shows how far the club have come doesnt it. Roll on saturday

Davo, hats off to you son for coming on here, takes a big man to hold there hands up. In all fairness can't remember the last time you missed a pen, not even when we went for a kick about at toynbee.
Put it behind ya mate, you'll have to wait your turn for the next pen, i expect Troony fancies it again now.

Hi Davo, please don't be so harsh on youself. You are a good leader for the Team, and with a little more luck it wouldn't have needed the penalty. Chin up and let's get the lads up for Saturday's match and beyond.

No need to apologise Davo, it was a quality save to be fair, nothing wrong with the pen.
We were all a bit gutted on the night to come that close and lose it, but the lads shouldn't bare too much blame. Though it wasn't quite the same level of performance as Saturday, an unlucky 2-1 loss at a Conference South side is nothing to be ashamed of. Especially with Ossie not up to full condition before the game, big loss to the team (I'm sure many will agree he was our biggest threat on Saturday).
So chin up lads, let's get focused for the next game and put it behind us

It should be mentioned in passing that a game versus a team so far down the pyramid like AFC Totton is not really a game that Welling could get up for. At the end of the day after all. Welling did enough, Welling are through.
As captain are you disgusted at your keeper for the verbals and signals and winding up the Welling Fans. How do you feel when he makes your club look stupid and unprofessional. Maybe if he concentrated on the game he wouldnt have picked the ball out the net twice?
Good luck for the rest of the season, but in truth i have a dislike of bandwaggons who try to buy the leagues.
Good luck in any other cups you remain in although i guess the trophy was the important one for a club like you having to cover big wage bills.

No need to come onto our forum; a usually accepting and friendly place, and start slating into the club like that.
Barfoot is a fantastic keeper, and your fans got right on his back on Saturday for pushing a deflected shot into his own net. Getting right on a keepers back after a frustrating mistake at an away ground is going to cause some reaction in the lad, it's all part of his, and our teams passion for Totton.
We are not a 'bandwagon' team, we have a group of proper supporters who travel whenever we can off to away games and actually sing our hearts out; unlike alot of non-league crowds.
Now if you'd show some respect on our forum, it's for fans of AFC Totton, and though we welcome respectful comments from opposition fans, inciting argument and slating our club is not appreciated.

Oh ha! ha!, i guess if you had half a brain cell you would be writing comments on your own forum rather than ours.
Still it must be difficult for you to accept that we took you the mighty Welling! to a replay that we almost won!
So yeah not to bad for a low league team like us is it?
Any how as I remember yesterday evening it was you who was being mouthy and abusive from the off at our keeper. I don't think any language other than F words came from your mouths!
But I guess you also didn't hear the language coming from your own keepers mouth which was very offensive and abusive.
So best of luck, COME ON WEYMOUTH!!!!!!
Well said GAZ by the way , they no nothing about AFC Totton and our super supporters.
I note only a handful came down to support Welling.

seems you have too much to say online and not face to face.
who is the thick one ? mouthy and abusive lol ( pot kettle black?) shame your views are as childish and backward as they are,

We are lucky to have a chairman investing in the club and a Director of Football who is doing a great job of securing players we couldnt afford without him,
so in my opinion all i hear from you apart from bull**** is jealosy and sour grapes.
These comments as well as your details from your ISP address will be passed onto your club to show them what sort of fans (minority i know) think they support your club.
So in future dont make a d**k of yourself on other peoples forums, and address your views and opinions in person.
Your team won but the losers are football fans like you.
JgFc / Jia You Chi Pang... we know who you are and so will welling utd.
P.S When can we expect to see your team at WEMBLEY ? we've already been there mate, and this year isnt to be unfortunatly, but we still support our team through good and bad.

Keeper baiting by the supporters is part of Football, especially at Non League level when the fans are so close to the goal. However Barfoot is lucky we are in general a friendly bunch. If you had won last night and he reacted that way in front of several hundred Weymouth fans for example, your club could well have had a serious problem to deal with. Had the ref or assistants been doing their job correctly he should have been booked for incitement.
I note only a handful came down to support Welling.
Please tell me how many of you would have made a 100 mile plus journey on a Tuesday night after a day at work. Not many I guess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kev, we have been taking 30 or 40 supporters to away games in midweek this season, Ask Thatcham, Ask Bracknell, Ask Bishops Cleeve. As for the other Welling fan 'Hushgoalie' WHAT A KNOB!!! Easy to be gobby at a keyboard mate aint it?

When there's such a complete lack of interest in their club that their forum gets about two posts a week, it means alot to them to get involved in a discussion.

You dont have to worry about having a problem on our hands mate the club and fans are more than adequate and capeable to deal with any problems so your idle threat against our keepers welfare will be brushed aside as yours and JgFc's comments.
And your keeper wasnt too quiet either perhaps you too were lucky, had the ref and assistants done their jobs properly.
And im sure the weymouth fans are more dignified and respectful of opposition fans as they are a bigger and better club than welling, unlike some welling fans.
We haven't had problems with any other club and as you said banter between fans is part of football im a saints fan as many totton fans are too so again more than adequate to deal with football "fan" realated incidents. but thanks for your concerns.
Away fans to yours 40+ to Grays Ath, essex, 3 coaches and some drove so not bad support.
I didnt see any childish or abusive posts on welling utds forum so its a shame that JgFc has the childishness to come here to cause trouble i found him very brave and frightening, attacking over the internet not.
still good luck against weymouth you will need it and we look forward to the tie and the result fingers crossed hey ?

Just wanted to say in response to the Welling fan's question, as captain am I happy with barf's conduct, damn right I am, the bloke is a legend and one of the nicest guys at the club, he must have been getting some shocking stick to have a go back, but turning around to celebrate a goal is hardly going overboard. Barf's your a top man mate.

Easy to slip off the moral high ground in three posts.
If you are going to complain about JgFc, don't fall into the trap of going apoplectic on here yourself.
Job done, have a good season and we'll get Weymouth to wave on the way past.
I do hope you have got a good IP aliasing tracker by the way as I don't think the club will be particularly concerned about ISPs in Peru or wherever you're purporting to come from at the moment JgFc. Another one who assumes that because you are somewhat controversial you possess no technical proficiency. How many times have we been down that road before....
I think thats the mildest "banter" ive ever posted anywhere... no threats no swearing no nothing and theyve bitten like mad.
My legs are in the air here wiggling about and i cant stop laughing.
Barrie has my number if he wants to smack my wrists and the thread is above unedited for all to see. I think if any threats and swearing were posted it was from those with 6 toes and im quite astonished that their captain condones what their keep did over two games.
Are there any glass houses left in Totton?

Last nights photos are now on line usual place. Although I wasn't there Vanessa was and took a number of excellent photographs, icluding the penalty save, which clealy shows that it was a saved penalty NOT a missed one. Not impressed with anything to do with Welling. Lets all move forward to Saturdays game.

"A number of excellent pictures" Where? they look noisey, dark, under exposed, taken on a kodak instamatic perchance?
"Clearly shows it was a saved penalty not a missed one" Looks close to Masters to me he never moved his feet and saved comfortably as a good keeper like him often does. Poor spot kick from the pictures from an undeserved penalty and poor "homer" decision.
"Not impressed with anything to do with Welling" Well Kate Bush used to live there and Harrys Kebab shop is legendary. Also there are 11 players that Totton failed to beat over 2 legs.
PS Nicky (can i call you Nicky?) Dont bother replying i am not interested and we are looking forward to Weymouth in the next round. Not really interested in your game vs cowes united or whoever you play.
tutty bye, time to move on.

Just had a nosey at the Wings forum....and picked out the following comment:
"Your spot on Winkleman I think the players think they have a god given right to beat teams like Totton but it dont happen. We are not going to win the Trophy but a few wins are desperate to get money in the bank.
Alot of teams went out to lower league sides today so it could be worse but I just cant see us winning on Tuesday, I would be more confident if we were playing Wimbledon!!
p.s There kepper was bang out of order today. There was no need to turn to the fans and cheer when they scored he wasnt getting any stick so why the reaction which ws always going to piss people off. He let his club down today which was a shame because, (as annoying as they were) the Totton fans were excellent."

The fans that stood with us behind the goal in the 1st half gave Barfs loads of stick especially those stood just to my right and especially after Barfs failed to save Sherringhams shot. By the way Barfs told me that Sherringhams shot deflected off of someones studs and this is why he could only push it into the net.

i notice no one else makes reference to us annoying totton fans in the thread or the keeper incident so it must just be that one fans view (or he could have been the one giving the stick in the first half perhaps and as you say 'SOUR GRAPES')
in the pub next door to the ground afterwards the Welling fans were all moaning and groaning and the ones we spoke to were all pessimistic for tuesday and complimentary of the Totton second half performance. some even thought they were lucky to still be in it as totton missed a few good chances during the game.

He has never goaded or abused any fans at any game ever he is a friendly and non threatening person on and off the pitch.
It would have taken something bad to have got a reaction from him.
And im embarressed for your club at having a loud mouth like JgFc involved with the club you only have to read the pathetic childish posts he leaves.
Its all being given to the people that run the club including copies of this forum.
He has a lot to say and is running your club down and im sure the owners will be disgusted to read all the comments on both forums.
Including Kev's comments that our goalkeepeer was lucky you are a friendly bunch or he might have been attacked was the point he was making.
we have handed copies of the comments to Hampshire police who are going to look into the possible threats on Gareth barfoot and will use both forum comments in the investigation.
So im sure the club will love the publicity generated by a few idiots representing welling utd fc.
Great intelligent response! ill add it to the list, and doris has more balls than you mate as she proved giving "grown men" a bit of stick back, you cant ever live that down, and saga ? still counts as support whatever age , so i suggest you grow up and get behind your club and not talk trash in yours or other teams forums.
Calling people tards in bred and banjo players constitutes predjudice comments.
I dont mind JgFc keep posting childish comments its all recorded and will be handed over to Welling utd.
Amd as for Ip tracking there are people in the world cleverer than you credit yourselves,
The information collected isnt difficult to get there is no IP hider in the world that can mask all information and from whats been seen no one posting on tottons forum has hidden or disguised anything, and the comments are as pointless as all of JgFc's posts.
It seems to me that the majority of people posting are nothing more than kids that have big mouths and no brains.
i think what Kev was trying to say is that there are a few clubs at this level whose supporters may have reacted differently if your keeper had done the same reaction to your goal on saturday against them, luckily we are a friendly bunch and have no problem home or away with any other clubs. I think the whole situation has been blown completly out of hand, why on earth have the police even been mentioned regarding this??? keepers at this level are going to get stick at the majority of ground they visit and his reaction to your goal was bound to wind many supporters up. At the game last night when he was calling us "Fu**ing Chirpy W**kers" (only after your equalising goal went in) he was bound to get some stick after we scored our second goal!! One last thing, if we were apparantly swearing all night as an earlier poster commented, why didnt the stewards who were stood next to us at either half say anything??
Lets draw a line under the whole situation, its done now and people have been going a bit OTT. Good luck with the rest of the season Totton, you showed you have the ability to certainly play at this level over the two games against us so we may see you in the next cople of years
This was a 'big' game for both sides for different reasons and passions have run high on both sides but lets not forget what it was all about - 2 teams of 11 players both trying to put the ball in the opposing 11's players net more times than the opponents get it in theirs. Over the 180 minutes Welling had the better of the match (though in my opinion they were there for the taking in the 2nd half on Saturday) and have progressed into the next round.
Lets move on - away to Dorchester who will be smarting from their Trophy exit to Uxbridge on Saturday.

The only reason people went over the top was because of an idiot coming onto our forums abusing and being predjudice and getting personal thats what information is being give to Welling utd to sort out the sad fact that your supporters act the way they do.
Every other club we have played against have never reacted like your fans in our forums same as we have never had to post bad things in theirs.
the name calling and possible threat towards our keeper will now be looked into by the authorities and hopefully it will get rid of people like JgFc acting all tough and clever online who are soon to get a shock.
If all JGFC's posts are pointless what exactly are the old bill investigating , they take a week to turn up after you report a burglary? Do me a favour !! One other thing , take the 'error' from your username and it just about sums you up .

schoolboyerror do two wrongs (perceived or otherwise) make a right?
Personally, I can see no case for 'having to post bad things' on this forum because one? person caused an upset on your forum.

The comments about the welfare of the goalkeeper have been given to hampshire police as said and they decided looking at the forum posts on both sides its worth a look so you will have to wait and see.
Im interested in what your chairmem will make of it and abusing doris a nickname of a comittee member.
Mark be careful Doris will email points of view. this is hilarious stuff. So the police are on to me for a forum post with no swearing or threats, Doris is on the look out for Mark and Kev has been threatening the Keeper...
Can someone from totton please come on here and lead schoolboy error back for their medication.

add it to the list ?? as far as Im aware someone saying "well done" isnt an offence and the police will only laugh at you even more for your pathetic schoolboyerror. Please go back to your own forum/life/league, no-one here has any further interest in you or your club.
