Lee Protheroe has made a significant difference to the all round performance of the team since he joined from St. Albans and I do not believe that he has received the praise to which he is entitled. His experience and his undoubted ability has transformed the defence with his constant advice and encouragement to the younger players around him. By the way, I am not his agent but an admirer of a class player.
We are a young team and the likes of Lee will add some stability.He does the simple stuff you would expect and can add some good experience to the team. Likewise he engages with the supporters, I fear that we are a bit faceless as a unit with the fans sometimes.
Also we are are a better team when Rob Quinn plays. You could argue that he does not seem to do a lot on face value buy he organises and adds some depth of quaility.
Although Charlie and Moses look like being a decent pairing, if Moses goes back an old hand up front to work with Charlie wouldnt go amiss from my point of view.
Charlie is reminding me of his Dad each week. No pace but an eye for goal, good in the air and lovely touches that can bring team mates into play. A big mention to Moses as well who has come here and really tried his heart out which is refreshing to see, the boy is very strong as well for an 18 yr old.
