I don't have the longest history of watching Welling - no where near others that post on here. One game I recall that was very influential in making me come more was a 6-1 thrashing of Dorchester a few years ago.
The best game at Welling for me was the 2nd round of FA Cup having drawn at Bath the draw was made and we would be playing Blackburn at home in the 3rd round. We were 2 nil down early just before half time Terry Robbins pull one back and the park end fell down then they went down to ten men and Ray Burgess headed the leveller and a direct freekick from Phil (barney) Handford got the winner.
Bath game for me too. Crowd got freeguard sent off after he went up with Horton for a header and we were superb and that free kick!! other game was beating Gillingham at Home in the FA Cup.

Relegation decider for the loser, about 10 of us and an air horn there on a Monday night, Agana scored against us and it was looking rocky but we came through in the end. An arse twitcher if ever there was one but we found the result from somewhere.
Perversely, second would be the 0-0 monsoon at Reading given it was away at a League side and a cliffhanger. The aforementioned Bath and Gillingham games, Blackburn, a 7-3 win over Waterlooville in Jan 83 and a 6-0? rout of McKenna's Boston are all up there. And if you'd blown for full time after 45 minutes at Swansea!
One's I didn't attend that might get a vote are 4-1 over Colchester and the win over Gateshead that ensured survival.
Worst, a certain day at Hednesford, being shafted 4-1 on our own pitch by Wembley and the day Brigden got the sack at Kingstonian as that marked the point I think we became a lot more like all the rest (prior to that I think we'd had 3 managers, JgFc?).
Most stupid: getting a draw at Cheltenham and not knowing whether to celebrate if we'd stayed up or not
Barrow away only for the line after the game... Barron had such a stinker he even dropped his wages after.
Merthyr at Home 5-2? Rambos broken neck game?
And Swansea yep we took LOADS there what an atmosphere that was. Shame that we seem to be one club that havent competed and stuffed enough clubs out of the cup. Hopefully Andy will change that
Stafford Away... 0-0 two players sent off and denied the biggest penalty ever at the end when inchy went down in the box... Did cauliflower play in that game? see m to remember a skinny beanpole with shyte haircut in the merky air that day.

Played the last 9 minutes with 8 men. Abbo, Whitey and it might have been Robinson or Reynolds? Think it was Robinson. Still probably the closest we've come to beating the barstools since I moved here!
Was Mr Paul Rejer, now head of Premier League referees. Why does the attached piffle not come as a surprise if you'd seen him that day!
The Bath game in the Cup was great as was beating the Gills at PVR and the Reading saga.
Honourable mention to an Easter Monday win over D****** when ex Dart Gary Julians scored two and stuck two fingers up right in front of the their fans congregated under the old tin roof.
However it has to be the Gateshead game for me and the goal scored by Abbo that ultimately kept us up - absolute magic.
The Stafford game where we had three sent off was Abbo, Brown (I think) - who both got straight reds in the first half. White was sent off for two bookings fairly late in the game - the second booking for time-wasting, which was a joke, because he wasn't wasting time and we were the team who looked most likely to score!
