Sounds like a good effort but God only knows what happened at the start. Still at least the lads continued showing that they have fight in them, previous wings teams would have rolled right over. Let's concentrate on getting into the playoffs now.
A brief report, admittedly from a Hednesford fan, but hopefuly not biased in any way. A very entertaining game. We had a superb first 30 mins, going 4 up, and looking like scoring every time we went forward. You pulled one back with a superbly hit free-kick, and it was 4-1 at half-time. If we ran the show first half, your Team certainly had the better of the second half, with no alternative to going forward really. You deservedly got 2 more goals, and it proved to be a nervy last 10 minutes for us. Credit to the small band of your fans who made it up here, they made themselves heard (in the second half anyway!). Best of luck for the remainder of the Season.
You cant go round giving teams a 4 nil head start. You only come back from 4 nil down when you are playing 20 min a half on Fifa 2009 and the other team is Vasco De Gama.
Possibly the worst 30 minute spell I've seen in 20 years watching. Charlie was poor, the rest were abject.
The other 60 minutes we got our act together and it was a good comeback. However, as a club we have no real record of big comebacks or edging high scoring games so whilst we tried to convince ourselves I don't think we had confidence it was on.
Not the most helpful of referees but, then again, we did precious little to help ourselves and Hednesford managed to take more of their chances in a game loaded with them.
In the end, a lot better than it could have been but you can't help feeling on the basis of the last hour it was a missed opportunity.

last nite all 4 goals came down the left when we were playing a 3-5-2 formation NOW i know when perhaps 2goals go in u change it then the 3rd YOU DEFO CHANGE IT no not us We changed it at HT then dominated 2nd half. But y management didnt change it when 2 down i dont know i really dont we r a 4-4-2 side dont change for another team and dont mention no LB johnson played there the whole 2nd half so it did work.
Well done the rest who went and cheers matt for the lift.
Hats off to the nine who made it up there.......hope the team made a point in thanking you ????
I have been advised that there were 11 hardy souls behind the goal and at least one in the stands and that all of the team did approach the supporters who were clapping them off as a show of thanks.
