How strange is that? I have a window open to the "live" results on conf. South - still says 0-0, how often is the page updated?

Richard,

Your one is official and the one I use is fan based. I think I am right in saying it relies on fans at the match texting scores through to the admin. Whereas the official one probally has to wait for updates from club officials. If I am wrong someone will no doubt correct me.

Got what we deserved today - not an inspiring performance. Very little going forward - don't think their keeper made a save. Midfield not creating. Chelmsford weren't great but did enough to beat us.

My first trip to their ground. Very unimpressive. I sat in the stand some half a mile from the pitch. The floodlights were the worst I have seen - the half way line was almost in darkness. Is this ground good enough for the Conference National? I can't imagine the terraces being good enough. And £2 for some chips and a £1 for a small cup of tea + £2.50 for a programme - rip off.

Chelmsford played at 75% today they didnt need to get into top gear. The first goal kicked any confidence we had out of us today and we went into our shell from then, lost belief went and just went through the motion.

I didnt expect anyhting from this game today, so I am not to disappointed, but we MUST beat St Albans on Tuesday.  

I just feel that the team at the moment look a bit sorry for themsleves. I looked at the players today and thought yep good player but not doing at the moment and we have too many passengers at present. The thing the players and everyone must remember is that we are still in a strong postion for the play offs but we have to earn the right to be in that postion it's not just given to us. So lets go and earn the right to be in those play offs.

Very mediocre game. Crap referee. We were poor Chelmsford little better. Better ground than Hornchurch insofar as there is terracing behind the goals but otherwise just what you'd expect from athletics stadium. Harsh about the lights - the running track was lit beautifully, it was only the football pitch that remained in darkness. Didn't think the programme was a rip off - 50p more than Wellings but very professional and lots in it, thought it was worth the extra. Hope they go up as little to get excited about as an away trip. I suspect Chelmsford is prbably quite a nice place, just not the bit where the athletics stadium is.

Agree with all those points.

We badly need a second striker, the current formation is not working. Without Moses we look a far worse side.

What a difference one player can make eh?!?

I agree Chelmsford no 9 total plank - squealing after an innocous tackle. Either he's an utter cheat, and hey a semi-pro footballer wouldn't be seeking to con the ref would he, or he's a rather short pathetic little cry baby. I'll let you decide which. I thought we were very generous to give him the benefit of the doubt that he wasn't a despicable cheat.

A poor performance. We are in a slump now and it will take all of Andy Ford's managerial experience to get us back to where we were a few weeks ago. This season is going the same way as the Pennock era. We will finish 9th which is a vast improvement on last season. We have the Dover bandwagon to look forward to next season though!

To be fair to Adie Pennock era that may have had a different out come had we not had to play some games at Gravesend and Dartford.

This is a better team than then too, you are right though this is a slump and as I said before the players look down in the dumps and they need to pull themselves out of it. This is as good a Welling side that we have had for a long time so lets get behind them and just see where it takes us.
