I've had time to calm down now about the ref..... What an utter, useless idiot he was. He made a comment to fans in the first couple of minutes of the game saying 'they've had two warnings already' referring to Maidenhead after a strong challenge. He said it as if to say ' i'll be watching them'. And what does he do? BOTTLE IT and failed to get his cards out early doors to make his mark. Not to mention the three penalty appeals he was too scared to give.

He arrived at PVR without any boll**ks and failed to grow any during the game. Weak, poor excuse for a ref.

The same ref helped you the other year by failing to give a clear penalty for Liverpool at Anfield. You were also given an unjust penalty last season by Rob Styles in the same fixture so it could be said you had it coming.

And then there was the goal in the Champions League final that Sky showed never crossed the line. I know its swings and roundabouts and certainly accept the penalty last year was a shocking decsion. Just wish they would get more decisions right.

Thought you might mention the Champions League! You can't expect me to agree, and I don't think Sky proved anything conclusively, but it's hard to see how the assistant could be certain it was a goal (bit like 1966). That said if not a goal then perhaps penalty and red card Cech (not convinced ref would have given it mind!). Gets us back to referees. I was at Anfield (sadly missing the Wings or maybe not on the day!) and Riley was awful (again), this time it rebounded on you (maybe) though how they missed Bosingwa I don't know! You might have got a draw I suppose with eleven men but I thought we deserved to win to be honest. We made pretty much all the running. Your lot looked ok but completely toothless and Cech seems to have gone down a bit though still made a couple of saves. Finally I shouldn't be arguing with a fellow Wing! Just a bit of banter.

Could we please get back to matters regarding Welling United in this thread .

I would have thought it would be more relevant to discuss Hartlepool Untd than Chelsea.

tetchy, frozen in are we ?

Dont mention your beloved gooners although I do kind of have soft spot for them but find it a little strange that a player with the name of arse shavin is going to transform their season.

Still I agree the ref at PVR was filth, to be heard shouting " tried advantage, no advantage " and then making some form of Glen Hoddle coaching gesture shows the measure of a complete fool.

Every week I feel that this bloke cant be worse than the last bloke but every week my expectations are surpassed by the next display of incompetence. Still this one will live long in the memory-when will officials understand that we dont come to watch them. The best ones are the quiet ones who just get on with it

I have no arguement with you Spitey - Liverpool deserved it - even 11 against 11 you were the better side and the only one wanting to win the game.

As for Bubbles comments - he is clealry frustrated being a gooner and has to live with years of disapointments. Very worried to hear that BKK has a soft spot for Arsenal. I thought he was a decent human being!!

Well we all have our faults-I mean just look at Bubbles knows everything has an opinion about everything and can only manage 11 posts in total

What does that tell you?
