Yet again I couldn't make the game, and I'm desperate to know how the boys are getting on. Can anyone in the know keep me and everyone else not there updated? PLEASE??!!
FOR FOOK SAKE!! I know I aint at he game (have we been that bad tonight?), and I don't want to sound like a mongerer of doom, but I fear on current form our season could be more or less over now. But I hope I'm wrong.
We were certainly second best in this game. H&Y were much quicker up front and caused no end of problems. We had our chances but a fair result I think.
Absolute garbage officials again. Where do they get them from? Two footed tackles get punished with a yellow card, raising your fists doesn't even get a talking too. Commit a second bookable offence and you only get a warning.
I've said it before; we need to change dugouts. H&Y were manipulating the lino all night. He seemed very friendly towards them too. He actually shouted "No" on one occasion when they asked for offside.
i thought we were the better team first half to be honest - we had more of the ball and created more chances and their goal came from a through ball and they took there chance and apart from a few corners i really felt we were comfortable
i think Fordy should have left it 4-4-2 and replaced the anonomous sheringham with baker instead of opting for the 4-3-3 again and for me we looked awful once we changed formation
still play-offs still arent gone but will be difficult - just need to get a win and go on a run starting with braintree
A poor day at the office all round with perhaps only Cobbs, Faz and Ademola, in my opinion, performing up to scratch.
Mitten looked at fault for first goal and back four looked like they had never met each other before last night. Players who have been playing well over the last few weeks like Ming, Blackburn and Sheringham all had poor games and whoever was playing the holding role in midfield did a very good impression of the invisible man for large parts of the night.
H & Y had a couple of lively forwards and were well organised and YET AGAIN "played the officials" far far better than we ever do.
Having said all that we had chances throughout the game and Sinclair, if he could head straight, might have had a hattrick himself. All is not lost and the ability is definitely there but we need a great run now to get into the play offs.
Of course the Ryan Johnson business might have had some effect on the whole team. Of course it goes without saying that we all hope they get to the bottom of this problem as his health is far more important than any football match.
Yep definitely. Its important for Ry to get this sorted big time. Once fair enough, but twice? there must be a problem and he needs to get himself sorted, sod football that can happen when he has been treated.
Alan good point abouthe dug outs, we changed before didnt we?
