Could not agree with you more. As I think I said to you a while ago they may be called Micky Mouse but MM earned a fortune for Disney. So why cant Welling earn a few bob and get some silverware into the bargain? After all not only is it a bit of prestige for the club but would look good on Andys, Jimmys and the players C.V.s. I also think it would encourage the reserves and youth set up for the future. No doubt Alan we will be the minority.
(With apologies to Kevin Keegan) I've kept quiet until now, but I'd love it if we win the London Senior Cup, I'd love it! Haha, but seriously, it'd be great. What a great confidence booster it'd be for the team to pick up a trophy or two. It'd be a positive springboard to build for next season and this might sound silly but it could be a good selling point for Fordy when he tries to attract players to the club.
