Nothing personal J, but Red Dwarf is about as funny as the clap.  Each to their own I know, but if you need a comedy injection, try Only fools and horses, Monty Python, Faulty Towers etc etc etc

Red Dwarf, I've already set it to record.

Cant stand League of Gentlemen or Little Britain though. I've watched them but they just don't make me laugh. I think it must be David Walliams. Smug git. Horses for courses I suppose

I've seen Only Fools so many times now I avoid it.

There's a secong series of The Inbetweeners on at the moment. Very funny.

I'd definitely recommend The Inbetweeners, especially if you're at school or have left recently. It's one of those comedies where you can actually relate certain characters to people you know. It's worth watching the first series on 4oD if you haven't seen it before.

i agree - for me it's a poor man's league of gentlemen and just isn't funny but as you say different people have different tastes

I like The Big Bang Theory but if you're not into American stuff then avoid it.

I think it's about time they did some reruns of Spike Milligan's shows. One of the funniest men ever in my opinion. On level footing with the great WC.

All I can say is thank goodness for recorders and the TV companies I-players. Yes you've guessed it working Saturday night and its Doctor Who, Primeveal and Red Dwarf. Why the hell did I agree to do overtime (answer - to buy a WUFC season ticket why else)
