If we win our last two games and Hampton beat Maidenhead in the last game then we should finish 6th. Then it is in the hands of the Conference to finally make a decsion about Hampton. Everything to play for I would say or I could have got it totally wrong!!!
i agree with jgfc - it is unlikely we will end up in them but just win our last two games and see if fortune smiles on us and we sneak into the playoffs - would be fantastic if we did
This was taken from the Hampton and Richmond forum.
Looks like it may still be a possibility.
However, I don't understand why somebody from the Conference or from Hampton cannot clarify the situation.
"FACT: The Beveree at the start of the season didn't meet ground-grading for entry into this season's play-offs
FACT: All clubs wishing to compete in play-offs needed to have a suitable ground as of 1st April 2009.
FACT: Temporary stands are not good enough to allow entry into play-offs
FACT: To erect a permanent stand you need planning permission.
FACT: Despite being in play-off contention since mid-November Hampton waited until late February before putting in any planning application
FACT: Planning department at the Local authority have agreed to decide it on a delegated basis.
FACT: The planning committee approving delegated decisions meets only every 2 weeks and the stand application was not included on the agenda at the last meeting on 16 April.
FACT: The earliest planning could be granted now is 30th April.
FACT: The play-off first semi-final takes place on 28th April, two days before the earliest date planning can now be granted.
FACT: Hampton fans and officials need to get their heads out the sand and admit they can't play in this season's play-offs, as do the Conference! "

Hampton v Maidenheads result is irrelevant as Maidenhead have already stated they have failed the ground grading so can't enter the play-offs, therefore if Hampton also cannot enter the play-offs then 7th place will do.
Hampton have def failed their ground grading as have no planning consent in place. This is common knowledge amongst the BSS officials. It will be officially confirmed on Friday. So it's up to you guys to win on Sat and the play-offs are there for you to win. Looks like Eastleigh H & A then either HandY or CCFC.
There was a bit mentioned about Hampton last week from the Conference chairman. He uses words like 'compassion' and i think they might get the ok.
The one thing we haven't mentioned ourselves is if WE are allowed into the play offs? PVR is not a 4,000 stadium since the stand went up. To qualify would we have to have some firm building plans in place?
Gary couldnt they use all of the terracing again and extend back to the fences to get the capacity up. Ok i know they would have to do a bit of work on it hence why it isnt in use.
does anyone know what the true capacity is now? if you only need another 100 or 200 then you only need to go back one or 2 rows.

i think it is 3,500 and the rules are we would need some sort of plans/permission in place.
As the conference gets bigger clubs and larger attendances i suppose it makes sense. Most clubs who average about 600 now in the south would maybe get 900-1,500 in the national - but the BIG games occur more often now than when we were last in the conference.
we have that capacity and you probably know more than me but i dont think we would have have Ford as a manager if we couldnt go up - he either wouldnt have taken the job or would have walked so im sure the club have it covered
Our ground was passed last year I remember which was funny as we were struggling at the foot of the table at the time.
I find the ground grading baffling. Fisher were allowed to compete in the playoffs last year with Dulwich Hamlet's ground which is very small and has a lack of terracing.
