Temporary structures are not acceptable for seating to gain promotion or to take part in the promotion play off matches, unless the club can show that it has obtained planning permission and has the detailed plans to construct a permanent covered seated stand, which may form part of the required total number of 500 seats. They have not obtained planning permssion yet. That is a fact. Where I have highlighted and unlerlined 'and', if that said 'or' then fair enough; but they're being allowed in the play offs with a temporary stand and the rules clearly state that is only allowed if you've got planning permission which they haven't got! When making such a decision if they came out with a nice detailed explanations saying 'yep, we can see why people are unhappy but the loophole XYZ has been used, they're within the rules' we could put this to bed and move on, and in truth they must have exploited a loophole, and if they did then fair play. But why not just say so.
Hopefully welling have faxxed the FA . Because there are FA Ground Regs and the conference are NOT allowed to waive or bend them.
Whatever has to be done has to be done today and tomorrow. BUT as you say the fave they have cemented in the temporary stand is irrelevent they havent got planning.
lol can you inagine if there was a tragedy there. Brian Lee and Strudwick would be accountable.

If it's all so clear cut why doesn't the Conference just say so, explain their decison and let us all move on. The complete lack of communication makes the Conference look a total joke. It is 10.40 on the last day of the season, you think they might be happy to let us know their decisions by now. They are making themselves look like total clowns and inviting the suggestions of dodgy dealings.
