Have to be the right age, have potential, doing at their level and an achievable signing.
I will start the ball roliing. Tommy Whitnell at Cray, whos idol is none other than Edward Sheringham, could be a bit of a pull there if he was to partner son of Edward and player of the year upfront!
Obviously if Cray lose in the play offs our chance increase as hes only a Ryman South player then.

i think we should look at players such as Craig Holloway from Braintree, when we played them at their place he made some outstanding saves and i believe he is a local lad!
Our only chnace of getting Moses would be if he was deemed surplus to requirements now Brentford have gained promotion. But I could see penty of teams being interested in him should such a situation happen.
Jamie Day has not signed a new deal with Dartford he will play on a non contract basis. I can confirm that he has been talking to Fordy, but not a lot has happened since. I'm not sure he will join as Jamie Turner is one of his mates and Jamie was not impressed by Ford's treatment of him.
Well Daisy would be a good signing as he can help Keith with the Academy and or Reserves and as a player.
His wages .....we could offer slightly more? Also Daisy is doing his coaching badges and already has some.
I spoke to Jamie a few months ago and i would not say he was saying i would come back to Welling tomorrow, but i got the impression he would like to come back. Lets get him back when hes 30 not 35.
If Loui is gone and we have let Quinn go. Daisy who the above poster says is available ,would be a great signing, We KNOW what he can do and there is no gamble there.
IF we got Daisy, Burge another striker and Cobbsy the squad is looking pretty damn fine.
And full of players who WANT to play for us.

Day is a friend of mine so this info is good.
I very deliberately put that Daisy had agreed new terms with Dartford in a post in a previous thread.
Agreed terms = hasn't yet signed but has confirmed that terms are acceptable but is keeping options open.
Signed = put their name on the dotted line. There is a degree of smoke and mirrors at our level since the fans are rarely told if the registration is on contract or non contract terms though if you ask directly you will normally be told.
As I understand it out of contract players over 24 who have agreed terms or signed on non contract terms are effectively available without a transfer fee.
If we were to be interested in Daisy and he has actually signed on a non contract basis we would presumably have to make a 7 day approach to Dartford if we wanted to talk to him. If he has only agreed terms we would be free to talk to him.
