Shame - thought he was a good player. I had a feeling he would go - he never started that many games towards the end of the season, maybe that's the reason?
Over rated - finished last season well but can't say I am too disapointed. Why he want to go back to Bromley with all their difficulties I can't imagine, unless he knew that first team appearances would be limited or Andy didn't offer him too much money.
Anyone concerned by this??, Personally I wouldn't mind seeing one or two signings announced now to just steady my nerves
Yeah I'm concerned. I'm getting very concerned. We've lost Blackburn, Loui and Charley. These are very good players and who I thought would be fundamental to a promotion push next season. Not to mention our assistant manager. I just really hope Fordy can do some of his wheeler dealing and bring in some quality. However, to lose two of our best players to teams who finished below us last year may be an indication that we cannot compete financially with other teams.

Sorry fella, don't agree that he was over rated. I thought that when he played, he was one of our good ones. Fast, attacking and delivered some great crosses. I agree though about his choice of going back to Bromley. Maybe Welling didn't offer him the kind of money that he was hoping for? Shame to see him go.
I agree Ben, it seems a bit worrying they have joined teams who finished at least 9 points behind. The signing of Sambrook is a steady, good signing, but I wouldnt mind seeing a "sexy signing" to inject a bit more optimisim. But I still have faith in Fordy.
I'd love to see Faz and Charlie fall on there faces, Charlie more so.
I had heard Sinclair was talking to a RYMAN team...
I wish he would sign or p1ss off
He might want to go to Billericay with his mate Baker and Danny Slatter. If that is the case, James, remove the last remaining piccy from the web site home page
Surprised that Fordy hasn't issued a sign or quit ultimatum to Sincs who is the only remaining player on the retained list who has not made a decision one way or the other.
Would hope its not true that he is looking at a lower league club.

The only thing that doesnt look good on Fordy is he issues mini ultimatums about sign or i will replace you but they drag their feet and Andy suffers it , it would be nice if Andy come out and said right ive signed X as this player was messing us around and didnt want to sign so they are now surplus to requirements and have been released. We are now 1 month away from pre season. theyve had their chances, and i now include Loui in this. Hes move fell through he could have said right ok Fordy lets crack on. It seems that hes trying to get in at Stortford now.

"He aint that good, Graeme and Parky or one other if Jack is in midfield would match what Sinclair offers".
Sorry, I have to disagree..................... he is that good for us.
Sinclair and Andrews at the back look very solid. They are the perfect match.
And who would the "one other" be? We can't say that another person would match what he offers as we don't know who Ford can get in to replace him, should he decide to sign for another team. I am sure that if it was Barry Chuckle playing along side Andrews it wouldn't "match" what Sinclair offers.
If he doesn't sign then it will be a massive loss to us so I am not suprised that Ford is holding out for him.
Fordy could easily bring in a better player than Sinclair. He is not one of the players you would feel a league club would be sniffing round is he? I would be hugely surprised if he went to a higher level than BSS if he left us. Once they start messing about unning and arghing i would let them go in every case.
Hes clearly showing no desire to play for Welling, so let him go , and replace him is my view.

Fordy said last year that he wanted to build his team around Sonny last season but that he had had to move on and change his plans his plans when having been offered terms Sonny did not commit to the Club.
When the Salisbury deal fell through and Sonny signed Fordy said he was very pleased to have him back on board but it was clear that his value in the revised plans was his flexibility to play either at the back or in the midfield where there would now be competition for places.
This year Sincs is again delaying signing on the dotted line. Both he and Faz (who we know is looking elsewhere) need to make up their minds or they could come unstuck. Fordy goes on holiday in less than a fortnight and though we know decisions on some places will be made during pre season he will want the core of the side signed up before he goes. If you are not part of that core you become part of the pool of players from whom the squad will be completed on the basis of the money remaining available from the budget. In this scenario judgements about how the remaining budget will be spent are made upon whats the best fit of players I can have for the budget I've got, hence the situation could be I offered player A £x but I've got a player who I think could do his job for less than £x and I can spend the balance on a more expensive player in a different position.
Do Sincs and/or Faz have the flexibility which Sonny has? Are they that confident that they will win out in a judgement on a player/remaining budget fit?
