The point is mate if you had of been joining a team like Stevenage or Oxford I would have said yep fair play he is making a great move up the football ladder, its full time football which he craves and its higher league football. BUT this is a massive move sideways and to a team that we have a massive rivalry with.
The question I and all over's want answered Sincs is Was a move to Woking on the table before Dack jumpoed ship and joined them? I and all Welling fans would love to hear from you.
Trust me his offer for signing on was an insult to that statement. I would say that maybe you should all have a little more respect for players and even try to be pleased for them that they are trying to progress in there careers and become better players.
1) Why the (ahem) should he get a signing on fee? You get bonuses for success not agreeing to be paid for another 40 weeks. So Welling offered him little or nothing to sign on LOL, so what! Dont you think he owed Welling a little for the way they looked after him?
2) Why should Welling be pleased hes p1ssed off to a club in our league when Welling paid him for the best part of a season for doing nothing?
Jesus ,"Mr In the Know" are you Harbijan Singh?
To the poster above asking if Dack tapped him up.... LOL, do you need to ask that and also do you think you would be told the truth by someone who just shat on the club and the fans?

You learm something every day. I didn't even know that players got a signing on fee each time they decided to stay at a club.
I am starting to wonder if we will ever have another true legend as nobody stays beyond two seasons anymore.
Presumably Woking will have to pay compensation as Sinclair was offered a contract and I assume he is under 24.
Should we be annoyed at Dack? As someone said Parker did it when he came here and although most were average Danny Slatter gave us a couple of decent seasons.
The last player to act professionally was possibly Ian Cousins, who unlike Sinclair, got injured and ripped his contract up rather than ponce off the club.

Remind me - how did Sinclair get injured? Wasn't it playing for Welling at Dorchester? If he got injured because he was drunk coming out of a club that's one thing, but if his injury was when playing football for the club then the club owe him. His football injury will have impacted on all aspects of his life. Do the club have insurance?
I could be wrong about the injury - I remember him being stretchered off at Dorchester the season before last but can't recall if this was the start of his long absence.
Irrespective of how long Sincs was out injured, in my mind, he should still have shown loyalty to the club that took him on. As per previous posters, Dack and other managers would grab hold of known players that became available on a free and no outlay for their respective clubs. Do you honestly think that Fordy would bat an eyelid to get a player known to him if said player were out of contract and not wanting to hold the club to ransome?
