If I recall he looked quite sharp in the early stages of the KSC final but did miss a couple of good chances during that period which a striker at our level probably ought to put away.
However Keds came from Kent League football so thare must be a few players at lower level who may be worth a look.
Was hoping for some positive news this week on players as our manager is apparently on holiday next week.

RE: Whitstable Striker David Cory to do pre season at the Wings
Does look a bit below the required standard and been around the lower leagues a long time, but Fordy has ovbiously seen something and wants to have a proper look. He should be given his chance during pre season training at least. We cant really know until hes had his chance and it is only a look at him after all.
Cassius would look certain to score more but obviously would cost a few quid more.

Cassius: only 19 and bangs 40 odd goals in second season at senior level including hatrick at AFC Wimbledon in an Erith Town team that isn't all that good......gotta be worth a look

I saw Cassius play against Erith & B on Easter Monday and he looked quite good. Didn't score a goal, but he has a good touch on the ball, can pass and is really fast.
Cory was ok against us in the KSC Final until we scored our second goal, then he disappeared, but then most of the Whitstable players did.
