15k is a player. hopefully we can dip into the reserves if we have to. We have a couple of strikers there who score and if we develop them with the help of keith and quinny then we could be ok.
Would be nice for one of the Hobbins to speak to Greeny about the close season and the way they are juggling the budget and what the setanta impact will have on us.
I am sure Greeny has his pencil ready. Thats Paul green not that useless waste of space off radio kent (Oh i hope its not Paul's brother)

Saw the lunch time report on TV not sure if ITV or Auntie but Websfleet featured. Said they received 80K last season plus 24K for televised action. Said if any other broadcaster does take on Setantas deals no interest in Conference football.
Also stated they lost 20000 subscribers this year in that my football club issue.
Across the board every club could lose the £15k not just us and whilst it could be looked on that therefore nothing is effected, its the bigger clubs that will be able to take the hit better.
It will be the smaller clubs who had more reliance on the monies that will be biggest hit and it wouldnt suprise me to see someone go belly up soon, not necessariy from our league. You only have to look at the situation at Liverpool to realise the turmoil that is going on and it wont be until someone big goes under that will make headlines-and Real can bid £80m for Ronaldo?
One things for sure Barrie and Barrie have run a good clean ship. They have taken enough criticism in the past for not stretching the budget and pushing the boat out further. They have been proved right on this one yet have been keen to help out Fordy when needed. Fair play to them and although you could look and say we aren't rich at least we are still around.
