Dunno if this has been posted before, but just came across Blue Squares odds for next season.
We are 16/1 with Dover Athletic 6/1, Chelmsford City 7/1, and Newport County 7/1 the 3 front runners.
I'm not really much of a betting man but 16/1 seems like quite good odds on what we have seen so far of our squad developing, players being brought in from higher placed teams etc
16/1 that's fantastic isn't it? You bet £1 and win £16. Then invest it in a World wide recovery Investment Trust and bingo that £16 becomes over £20. I'm off to the Bookies!

I was thinking that could pay for a chinese one night, but each to their own mate lol
Fantastic, if you still have the book can I borrow it and save on spending my winnings?
I still think 16/1 are good odds, however the bookies generally know don't they? When you think how positive the feeling is amongst us the supporters is at present I feel that the odds maybe a bit generous.
If fordy signed a good center midfielder and a proven defender in pre season then i would have a bet. Then we would have a very comparable squad to the top teams.
We are possibly one or two players but i am not panicking as Fordy has already said more to come in pre season.
Just dont feel the 16s is any value at the moment.

Dear Mr JgFc, I bow down to your experting footballing knowledge, but as you mention "If fordy signed a good center midfielder and a proven defender in pre season then i would have a bet". If that was the case wouldn't that affect the odds, so now may be the time to put your £1 down. Regards Trigger.
