Are the tickets for the Charlton game going to be on sale right up to the day of the game? Will it be possible to buy tickets on the gate before the game? I aint been to a pre season friendly in years so can't remember. I can't fooking wait for my football fix. I hate the close season!!
My dear Ben281032, may I suggest that you call the club as they will be able to advise you on how the ticket situation is. Could I respectfully also suggest that you go the Charlton game as it's always been a good time. Don't know if you went to either of the AFC Wimbledon games but if you did you would have noticed a wierd feeling watching the Wings play in front of a full house, it's sort of similar but better.
Yeah I went to the AFC Wimbledon home game. Brought a couple of neutral mates too. Great atmosphere and a good game to match. I remember we played Grays a few years ago in the Trophy and that was a good atmosphere too, albeit mostly their fans. I'll stop by the club sometime next week to see if they have tickets still on sale.
Hello Ben281032, if you are a season ticket holder you can just ring and your ticket will be reserved along with your seat if you have one. Suggest you ring tomorrow as time ticking bye. Weather good at the moment so I would think that many tickets have been sold or reserved. Best of luck.
I'll do exactly what i did last year, when we played Charlton, I'll buy a ticket at the turnstiles and stand at the Park View Road end :D Looking forward to the game. Was a great match last time, and yes it was a bit strange seeing so many people there :O
I think most pay on the gate - last year if you had a ticket you could come in through the gate - rest queued for the turnstiles. Our capacity is 4000 odd - if we get 3000 for this game that would be good. I can't see them turning people, waving a tenner, away.
According to the Metro last night - Charlton are closing their shop in Bexleyheath - lack of custom.
Going by the response of my Charlton mates, they're up for it. The common banter is about Welling winning and Charlton being the local team and not the bigger team. Either way lets hope for a good turn out, fantastic weather and a great game.
