An historical note for fellow oldies - Former Bexleyheath and Welling manager Bert Johnson - the former Charlton player who featured in the 1946 and 1947 Cup finals died on Tuesday aged 91. Bert, who was succeeded at Bexleyheath and Welling by former Charlton centre-forward Charlie Vaughan, also did a bit of scouting for "the town" as B&W was known - and fitted a bit of scouting in for Leicester City as well!
