Marco and Ben youngsters from the youth/reserves? , Mason and Cracknell experienced.

Dont know much about Hobbs or Ferrera. Obviously at the moment we are short at the back and up top through the middle. But some of that is due to being without what you would think is our first choice strikers.

But the squad looks good to me . If being uber critical would say we still need a midfielder, center half and striker but that would be to challenge for the league. So all in all not bad. Andy still has chance to bring 3 players in and go sniffing others that havent enjoyed trials elswhere.

Fordy has done well this pre season hasnt he if you look at the whole picture.

I thought Ben Greenhauge was good, looks quick. Wasn't sure about Jason Mason at first but he grew on me, seemed comfortable in the center. Need to see Justin ....... again wasn't sure about his pace all be it he was up against quality opposition.

I think it was a very promising first game.

We have plenty of pace in the side (like last year) especially in the wide areas but feel we need to add a bit of muscle and nous at the back and in midfield. Last night was a good run out but I fear that we could get roughed up in BSS unless we add some steel to our team.

Quite impressed with Jason Mason (we should sign him anyway with a name like that !) Not so impressed with Spencer Knight who looked half a yard slow and gave the ball away cheaply. Most of Charlton's attacks came down his side of the field.

Could do with a big target man as well. A lot of long balls were pumped upfield to our 2 short strikers. I think thats where we need someone like Sheringham.

I agree about Spencer. He looks like he's got a good touch but his pace may be against him. I'd prefer to see him defensive midfield rather than full back.

I thought everyone that played last night played well.

Think we said that a couple of times last night. Perhaps just a change of style is needed. But a big CF would be an asset, even to ruffle defence's up.

Spencer was up against Wagstaff in the second half who has lightening pace. I thought the number 10 up top looked tricky but his shot looked a bit weak at times.

The goalie was at the Mutants academy last season and 18 year old Adam Marsh was in the Orient youth team.

Does anyone know where Ferrera and the other striker have come from?

Thought it was a really good game. Thought the two CM's in the first half looked good, Jason Mason and Dean Cracknell i think it was. I agree that Spencer Knight didnt look too great ... Finn also looked fast and skillful.
And i think one of the strikers, Jake Hobbs, was at Blackpool.
