I was on the Kentish Football Site And See That Teddy Sherringham is being offered a deal to play for Beckenham Town.! it reads
BECKENHAM TOWN look set to pull off the biggest ever transfer in the history of the club.
The clubs new chairman, Chris McCarthy, is confident of securing the services of Champions League winning legend, Teddy Sheringham for the clubs Carlsberg FA Vase games this season.
Im having talks with Teddy about the situation, but these things do take a lot of sorting out," Mr McCarthy told www.beckenhamtownfc.co.uk.
Im really hopeful that between us we can make the situation become a reality. Its an enormously exciting prospect.
I Think even though he wont play much A Big Name Like This As It Would generate CASH £££££. <----A Teddy = £££££ + More

In my opinion, if Teddy was to play again he would sign for whatever team his son plays for. Most likely if they striker injury problems. There was talk last season of him playing in a Welling shirt with Charlie. Can't see him signing a contract and showing any type of commitment due to his other interests.
This was in the Non League Paper. Said he wants to have one more shot at playing at Wembley or something! But due to his TV stuff he can't play every week so will be just appearing in the FA Vase. Supposedly him and the Beckenham chairman are good mates and Teddy did appear in a celebrity match there a few weeks ago.
