Following the Kent Cup success the supporters team have won the plate at this year's WorldNET, seeing off Grimsby, Fulham, Darlington, Crystal Palace and York in a marathon day of football.

Just to mention that in the group stages against Bradford we drew 1 - 1 and they went on to be the finalists in the main cup and we were robbed of a bang on pen we join a long list of quality teams on the plate including - Inter Milan and Arsenal.
The weekend was amazing and a big thanks to all who come and supported and to all the lads and managment, what an achievement considering we were being riduculed by some who did not know who we were! WE ARE THE MIGHTY WELLING UNITED!

Just wanted to echo my sentiments, fantastic weekend everyone in the party of 30 played their part.

What a great 2 days of football, Welling United used to be the Non League unknowns, not anymore!

By the way we are the first non league club to win either the cup or plate, amazing feat by the lads, it was a pleasure playing and drinking alongside you all weekend
